Im confused. I thought participating as a judge was at a reasonable cost? Wasnt it cheap last year?

I planned this trip for the last 4 months under the expectation Id get to take part in judging. At $400 a pass I dont think thats gonna be possible. Does that price include all samples for free?

It would be $1200 to do all 3 categories, though over 3 days, smoking 30 entries in just one category has to be hard enough work in itself, not just to smoke, but to provide any meaningfull judgement, the whole point of it all.... it is no time to loose $100s in random coffee shop pinball narcothons....

Fair play Chaos, I think you said it mate "hard enough work".

To hit all 30 samples in just 3 days AND give a fair assesment is a mammoth task. Taking 30 hits is no problem, actually determining which one is doing what though....

You'd need to know your gear and yourself very well in order to work out wether your current head rush is the one you just hit 1 minute ago, or the one from 20 minutes ago thats actually a killer creeper... by the time you get to 11pm on day2 who really know whats working anymore? ...

I see a lot of people wanting judges passes (including me), but I wonder how many of them are really up to doing the job properly? (no offense meant to anyone, I'm not sure I could manage this myself - and I'm no fish).

My advise to people testing both indica and sativa, Is to do sativa's in daytime, and the indica's afther dinner he he..... Yes last year some found it tough to test all the baggies in the given time.
