Joint doctor's Diesel Ryder+150cfl light question ( need quick answer)

Hello there, I am waiting for my diesel ryder seeds to arrive.
Meanwhile i allready got my cfl bulb,
but they sent me the wrong one, they sent me a 6400k bulb, that has more blueish light coming from it, instead of the 2700k with red/orange colored light coming from it.

Will the diesel ryders still bloom, and will the result suffer a lot from this?

Thanks for any answers.:abduct:

Imo, the plants will grow and bloom with that bulb, but you will deff get better results using a bloombulb after 2-3 weeks when the autoflowering starts.

if you can, use one of each! I mean unless it's too hot. If I could only have one at a time I'd like to run the 6400 for 3 1/2 weeks. then the 2700 til the end.

Keep the 6400. Get a little 20 watt or so usual household CFL that has that "warm white" look to it. The combo will work better. The very red light is a bit of hype.

I prefer blue light in small grows, especially for AF's.
If you insist get like a 42w 27k bulb from home depot or some shit.

Thanks a lot for answers people, i cant afford a new 150w cfl, it costed me 100 bucks :| so i'll have to go for some small ones from the local store, i'll just mix in some small '' warm white'' 2700k bulbs, thanks :D

That's interesting as i've got 250w CFL's in both spectrums and was going to run the 6400k for 3 weeks then switch to the 2700k. What makes you say that red light is hype?

I was under the impression that for flowering the plant uses more of the red light spectrum, isn't that why people use Metal Halide for veg and Sodium for bloom?

Please don't get me wrong I'm not shooting you down, I'm really interested and wan't to learn so I can get the best from my grow.

Cheers,
