Legends Seeds is known for the "Joint Projects" it undertakes with breeders such as DJ Short, and Breeder Steve. This F1 hybrid is An Original "Neville's Haze" female crossed with a slightly sativa-leaning Blueberry male from DJ's collection.
The "Haze" has a green-citrus boquette with borderline woody undertones, while the Blueberry male adds a sweet-fruity flavour.
Due to the genetic difference between the "Neville's Haze" female and the "Blueberry" male (both considered a P1 generation in this
cross) I anticipate a uniform f1 hybrid from the cross along with very healthy hybrid vigor (high yield potential). Also, the f2's
(and beyond) crossed from these f1's will probably prove very diverse. A party just waiting to happen!
There is not much visual appeal to the buds, the best way to describe their appearance would be long, loose, and fluffy. The smell of an intact bud is almost non-existant, but when you grind one open, you get a tangy acrid smell. With an inhale of the smoke, I noticed a hint of ammonia. The taste is similiar to the smell, both are very subtle, and neither taste or smell would win any awards.
The initial buzz is extremely heady, and is quick hitting. Very intense and psycadelic. You don't get stoned with this one...you get HIGH!! I'm talking up in the clouds high. At one point it felt like my head had detatched from the rest of my body and was hovering two or three feet above me. You feel clear and energetic in the begining...but an hour into the ride your head is humming, and your mind is wondering. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the feeling Johnny Blaze gave me was the closest I've found to the" first time I smoked" sensation. The high peaked after 2 hours of intense buzzing. A couple of times I felt like I had eaten some really good mushrooms with the rushes of energy that kept pulsing to my brain. My senses seemed a bit more off than normal as well. Sound was the most noticably 'altered', followed by sight. After the initial 2 hour experience, I mellowed into a more familiar buzz that ended up lasting over 5 hours. I got a good case of the yawns at about 4 hours in. The sleepy sensation lasted for about 45 minutes until it melted away into the distance, like a fog.
Johnny Blaze is a very nice changeup from the goods I have been smoking lately. It is clearly in a different category all together.. the pure sativa category This is not something to casually toke on. This is something you have to devote time to, and schedule around, like a psycadelic experience. This herb could enhance any activity, as long as no sharp objects are involved.
