John Martyn has passed away

John died yesterday. My life will be emptier without him. I can't imagine not seeing him play again.

Oh man, that's really unfortunate news. Martyn was a real pioneer, almost always was a step ahead of everyone else.

I was saddened too when I heard the news the other day.

I only have really listened to "Solid air" and on other record by him, who's name I can't recall right now, but they're both beautiful and soulfull music...

As is so often the case, I, like many others will only begin to explore his full repotoire after the poor sods death! LOL. ;-(
