JLP's Pheonix Haze

here is my favorite plant i got from JLP's pheonix project, a project started by gypsy and dutchgrown before they were busted by the dutch police. i love strains with a story and this one has a pretty darn good one!

this is the neville's haze phenotype after 9 weeks curing. i also had more of a nh/ssh pheno that didn't yield as much and wasn't as potent. it did have an interesting taste though, oriental flavored ramen noodles, anyone? on with the neville's pheno...

Appearance: these buds look very old-school. not the dense bright nuggets that are so popular these days. the pheonix haze is dark green with orange-brown hairs. upon a closer look though, the abundance of trichromes is enough to make any pothead's mouth water. :yummy:

Aroma: when opening a mason jar full of this bud, a tart, lemon smell is the first thing to hit you. there are more subtle smells mixed in as well, a nice spicy smell mixed with something indescribably exotic. it is very tropical smelling, its one of the jars i find myself opening just to smell.

Taste: unfortunately, none of the lemon smell carries through to the taste. the spicy smells, however, dominate the taste. on the exhale, there is a sweet and spicy taste that stays on your tongue. it reminds me of going out for thai food. :yummy:

High: this is a great one for any sativa lover! it has a great uplifting, inspirational high. good for getting out in nature or just working on projects around the house. at first, the potency of this wasn't as strong as i had wished, but after a bit of time curing, everyone smoking it noticed the potency increase. now, its much more easy to overdo. i have learned that for certain events you are dreading, this is not the herb to take bong hits of before hand. :yoinks:

overall, i was extremely pleased with my results from this strain. i wish i had kept a cut around! thanks again jlp!

Fine report H&L, even though I find it hard to believe your lonesome with those herbs. :biglaugh: I feel like I'm right there smoking it with you. How long did it take to finish? I'm usually weary of those real long term sativa's. Eleven weeks is my max. Thanks for the great read.

Also congrats to you John Lee, more fine work by you.

hey smokey! the neville's pheno took 14 weeks if i remember correctly (which is questionable :chin: ). i would have let them go another week but i woke up one morning to frost and decided to take them. it wasnt early by any means, i just wanted them to be DONE done.

haha, im not lonesome by any means. i have plenty of friends who i share my herbs with. :joint:

I just can't wait that long. My veg room would be a forest and I'd be changing mothers before they'd get done. I'd be mad as...........

Beautiful plants and buds HL.

That definately looks like a NH pheno to me.There's nothing like the high of a hardcore Sativa.Glad you liked it HL.
