sounds fishy to me, if you raise the ph of the soil it's going to wack your nutrient uptake.

never heard of it. but i know that Jello is a nearly transparent, faintly yellow, odorless, and almost tasteless glutinous substance obtained by boiling in water the ligaments, bones, skin, etc., of animals, and forming the basis of jellies, glues, and the like. So who knows what (but a plant scientists) the Jello would do to soil, and plants:) I know Human body builders use Jello in thier diets to gain muscle mass.. but that is the extent of my knowledge of jello:) good luck with jello. The only thing i seen knock now mites was Avid. Best of luck Chimmer.. be well...

Pyrethin bombs (Dr. Doom). Bomb every third day and do it 3 or 4 times. Will completely get rid of them.

Last grow was a disaster!

MITES! After a miserable harvest, I finally tried some "Garden Safe" brand "Fruit and Vegetable Insect Spray" on my next grow. It is pyrethrum (.01%) and cannola oil (1%). I sprayed the plants and the soil heavily three times a week for a couple of weeks. Not a mite in sight! My plants are just beginning to flower and look good!

I don't know about using jello, though- the acidity would throw your ph way off and I wonder what the artificial flavors and colors would do to the plants- I grow organically.

Did she throw a cat at you right after telling you that?
