We were all set to disrespect the local fare in Ocho Rios, Jamaica but I have to set the record straight. Someone obtained some product that had to be mostly sativa. It was among the best that has EVER been sampled.
Appearance - Outdoor grown and probably cured, brown and green buds pressed together
Scent - very slight, not 'skunky' at all
Smoke - slow burning due to the humidity, very slight taste (floral/swampy), unusual scent recognizable as MJ but somewhat different (maybe because of the organic soil/fertilizer)
Effect -creeper, somewhat anxiety causing but very powerful trippy stuff, many many profound ideas (Ok, at the time profound) and long lasting. I very much wish that I had tried to record some of the ideas and thoughts that were brought up (strangely they faded away)
Medical effect - I only add this because someone had a sore back (wrenched climbing the Dunns River Falls) and mentioned that while pain still existed the mind was so distracted that it was pretty much forgotten.
Even some of the locals mentioned that this was the good stuff and 'Lambsbread' (which I confirmed, not Lambsbreath) when we shared smoke and stories.
This was not the first experience with Jahs offerings but we were more than pleasantly suprised by this particular strain. It's a shame there were no seeds but it would have been different grown elsewhere anyway (I'll share my Budlite story later).
