I found Jake Mandell through a few songs on a various artist CD from a label called Worm Interface from the UK. His musical talents have made him an icon in the software programing and creating incredible effects on Native Instruments software. I hope you find his music as interesting as i did when i bought "parallel process" the day it came out.

I have been writing electronic music ever since I was thirteen, and releasing music for the past ten years. You can find reasonably complete third-party discographies here or here.

I am currently a doctoral candidate in medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. I graduate in just a few weeks, then begin an internship in internal medicine in Boston. After the one year internship, I’m excited to start radiology residency.

My scientific interests include the use of imaging to study the neurology of music and tonedeafness, and minimally invasive treatment of cerebrovascular disease.

I lived in Berlin from 2000 to 2003, where I worked as a product manager for Native Instruments for Reaktor and Absynth. I still use them when I make music, they’re incredibly deep programs.

I live in Boston with my fabulous kick-boxing art-teacher tennis-coach wife who does a great job putting up with my time-devouring hobbies. She is currently finishing up her masters of science in art education at MassArt.
