Look at the replay. Jackson knocked him out and he went limp. Then he hit him again and woke him up. The ref made a good call.

Totally funny since the torrent search for UFC 71 shows it all. 1.36gb for the whole hyped up event and 26mb for the Jackson v. Liddel match itself.
And you can see it in the look in his face when he sat back up he was out. The ref was right in stopping it after Jackson connected with about 3-4 undefended blows to chucks head once he hit the ground.. and the right hook to the chin that got him there wasnt weak to begin with either.
I expect soon chuck will be a new coach in the IFL.

damn I havent seen the fight yet and won't be able to until tonight, but just seeing the spoiler subject of this thread gave it away

Yes, Karo Parisyan did win his fight. It went to a desicion. But he whipped out some fantastic judo throws during the fight.
And as for Liddel v Jackson....that was bullshit. The ref should have allowed Jackson to try to get some more shots in, to see if Liddel could defend himself. After the bell rang, liddel was up on his feet right away! When you get truely knocked out you don't know what's what!

If you look at alot of KO's in the UFC they are stopped as soon as the guy is out. Chuck was out. dont matter if you are out for a second or 10 minutes, out is out. Once your brain gets shook hard enough to KO you, you are in no posistion to defend yourself or really even stand up. Even rampage in interview said it was an early stoppage, then he saw the replay and said " no the ref was right , he was out"
So thats twice now Rampage handed Chuck his ass. i dont see Chuck wanting aq 3rd as whooping. I think Ramage is fighting dan henderson next and chuck is fighting Sivla. both from pride.

The one thing about MMA is EVERYONE(even the best) loses.... look up Rampage vs. Shogun or Rampage Vs. Wanderlei and you'll see Rampage be made there bitch. Cro-Cop, Wanderlei, Matt Hughes, GSP all losers this year and those are the creme de le creme of MMA. The only fighter who hasnt lost is Fedor but someday someone will catch him aswell. I think the stoppage was justified but if that fight was in Japan there was no way that fight was being stopped like that...
