Jack Herrer, White Widow 50 days In

Its a little late to start a Gj i guess but since ill be adding a few more pics over the last few days of there lives i guess ill put this thread here... Any way whats up Im JoeShmoeGrower but you can call me Joe...this is my first post on ICMag, but i did post on OG back in the day(RIP). Well any way back to the plants...Im growing 3 Jack Herrer and 3 White Widow.They are growing in soil(FoxFarm:Happy Frog) under a 400watt hps. Veged for 21 days then flip 'um. Im using FoxFarm nutes Growbig for veg and Tiger Bloom for Flowering. PH always 6.3....so anyway here they are.

qs: how much soil do they thrive in each? 5 gal? and hows the ventilation solved? iv seen similiar set ups where people used quite heavy fans to achieve any kind of ventilation causing a mild storm inside the cab.

How tall are your Jack Herers and did they strech lots during early flower? I'm planning on growing JH in a ScrOG under 400w hps, but have been wondering about veg time. I got 2 JH females under cfls now and theyve been vegging about twoish weeks... The problem is that my flowering closet (with 400w) is occupied for the next 4-5 weeks. So I was thinking that if I veg the JHs for another 4-5 weeks, putting the scrog on will be a nightmare... so maybe I should take cuttings (then I'd give the originals to a friend) and let them root and then grow them again and then in 4-5weeks they could go into the flowering closet with the scrog. What would joeshmoegrower do?

yo thx for the good words everyone.
the cult I'm using a 130something cfm can-fan with an attached carbon scrubber because yes they are quite stinky! The hood is air cooled so day temps only get to about 83-86f. Its really not that windy in there just a nice steady air flow...plus i got a little clamp desk fan blowing the canope, i would love an osolating fan but space is an issue.

franckk I would wait a week or two then take a cutting(depending on how long it takes you to root clones) cuz the jack does strech, quite a bit actualy. On day 21 when i fliped them the jacks were about 12-15inches and the widow were 18-21inches and if you will notice in the pictures the jack damn near caught up to the widow... my plants are all about 3 feet tall. thats almost 2 feet of streching...gl on your jack m8 its my favorite strain!

Yeh thanks for the advice. I think I'll take clones soon and have them well rooted under the cfls and then I'll veg for a week or two with 400w hps and then bloom BOOM! Yours sure looks mouthwatering.

tell me about it! The jack easily have another 10 days and i dont know if i can take it! Well my buddy did just give me a few grams of Ogre so.... i think i'll keep sanity.

Jack Herer was (if I'm not mistaken) developed by Neville, and is supposedly a Skunk #1 X Northern Lights #5 X Haze (Not saying Skunk #1 is the mother), but Sensi Seeds keeps the exact composition a secret. As wih most poly-breds, you get a few different phenos from this strain, all of them great, but the Haze-dominants are top class IMO. A well-balanced high few strains can touch, I count it among my five best strains all categories.

Jock Horror, well, it's Nirvana's try to cash in on the Jack Herer fame. Some say it's a Jack Herer f2 (but I've read grow reports claiming it doesn't grow like f2:s), some say it's crossed with Skunk. Nirvana says themselves that Jock Horror finishes earlier than Jack Herer, so a higher Skunk and lower Haze influence is probable, either through working with a Skunk-pheno, or crossing with Skunk. Which is the wrong way to go IMO, since I favour the Haze.
In any case, Jack Herer has that devastating, pleasant high you rarely come across, which is why Sensi Seeds can charge 150 euros ($190) a pack and get away with it.

Lookin good, love that frosty lookin jack...iv got some blue jack seeds i just started germing...its a mix between jack herer and blueberry an by the looks of that jack i cant wait to start...good job man

WOW - that's amazing under 400w. I just bought 15 Jack Herer seeds from Sensi 2 minutes ago. They're gonna grow under 600, and i hope to get something just 1/2 of what your getting. Man thats just nice. I salute watching those pics m8.
