Jack Herer Week 5 (Pics). Calcium Deficiency? WTF? Help!

Ok, so I have 5 plants growing in the same Waterfarm system. The Jack Herer is the only one with this problem.

Nutrients: 1200ppm
pH: 5.9
Temps: 72-79 degrees
Humidity: 45-62%
Lights: 2x400w HPS

Using mild doses of H202 to keep roots clean. Buckets each have airstones. What is this? The plant is about 15" from an air cooled really nice hood.

You have different strains in this system?

What nutrients are you using and how much?
Can you take some pics without the hps on I can't see the color of the plants.....

Can you fill out these questions?

What STRAIN are you growing?
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?)
What is the age of your plants?
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in?
What Technique are you using?
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.)
What is the Water temperature?
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each if using multiple?
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?
What is the pH of the "Tank"?
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?
When was your last watering?
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional)
What size bulb are you using?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor?
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When?
Are plant's infected with pest's

Can't turn off the lights right now, but the color is a good green.

I'm not going through the question list, I think I answered enough in the first post. We are using RO water, just changed teh water out to 1250ppm with 5.9pH. Temps are 68-78. All tools are clibrated. No pests.

Looks like LSF!

Looks like LSF!

Hi mate, that looks alot like LSF (Leaf Spot Fungus) specfically the Rust type. I had it in veg and the plants outgrew the infection into the bloom strecth period... although it's still present now, it's not wrecking the havoc it did initially.

I sprayed my plants in veg using 'Fungus Fighter' made by 'Bayer'. But your 5 weeks in so that's not possible... Try and get some stuff called citrofresh (http://www.citrofresh.com) can be used in late bloom from what I have read, it's a preventative rather than cure so it will only slow things down until you harvest if it does help.

Is this the first time you have noticed it on these plants or did they exhibit any signs of it before?

I am growing what I think is a Jack Herer cross (Jacky White) I wonder if Jack and it's crosses are suseptible to this LSF shit as it didn't touch the Sour Diesel or another strain at all!

BTW stich knows their shit!!

Good luck!

I'm not going through the question list,

I can't help you out then if you can't fill that list out; No one else can really give you your answer either; because everyone else is going to ask you for those questions, you would not even tell me your feeding and how much, so if you REALLY want your problem fixed you would fill that out; those questions are very vital in knowing where the problem had started and how to fix it.

Thanks peter for the kind compliment

Another thing; when you use another website you load your pics that is very dangerous; uploading them to a public non mj cultivation site is not recommended and I would remove them and upload them to this gallery if I were you.

Why take the risk?

Ok, here we go:

We added 1/2 tsp of epsom salts to the bucket the plant is in, in case of Mg deficiency. I have an instinct that is Calcium deficient, but I don't know how to fix it. Here is the questionairre:

What STRAIN are you growing? Jack Herer
What was the establishing technique? (Were the seed or clone?) Clone
What is the age of your plants? In 6th week flower
What PHASE are the plants in? (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Flower
What Technique are you using?Hydro
What substrate/medium are you using?(Hydroton, RockWool etc.) Hydroton
What is the Water temperature? Air Temp is 75, water is around 70 i guess
What Nutrient's are you using? How much of each if using multiple? Canna Line
What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? 1200ppm
What is the pH of the "Tank"?5.9
Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment? No im retarded
When was your last watering? hydro DWC
When was your last feeding change? (ie. grow-bloom-micro-additional) 2 days ago
What size bulb are you using? 2x400w
What is the distance to the canopy? 17"
What is your RH Factor? 45-63%
What is the canopy temperature? The room temp
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range) 68-78 F
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 100CFM
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? No
Is your water HARD or SOFT? RO
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched No
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? No
Are plant's infected with pest's No

water is around 70 i guess

There can be no guessing when it comes to water temps; you need to find out, because higher temps have and carry less oxygen to the root system and the plants can't absorb nutrients properly.

It also allows a breeding ground for fungus, bacteria, root rot.

How big are these plants to have 1200 ppms?

WHat nutrients, canna carries a lot of different kinds, which kinds are you using and are you following there feeding chart they have?

Can you get some more pics without the hps light on so I can see the color of the plant? HPS light hides the problem well.......
Not with just you, but anyone who posts pics with that light on, you can't clearly see what the problem is very well.

The buckets all have Air Stones in them, so oxygen shouldn't be an issue. The water temp is <72. The plant(s) are about 5ft. tall, and quite bushy.

Canna Aqua Flora nutrients are being used. Cannazybe, A+B Flora, Rhizotonic, used PK 13/14 for a bit.

I can't get more pics for a few days.
