Jack Herer Clones

Hey whats up everyone? I got some Jack Herer clones, one is 16 days and the rest are 15 days and still not roots. The clones were cut with a 45 degree angle and the leaves were snipped in half. Some clones have dying lower leaves, and when I take the dome off the clones' leaves curl upwards at the tips. Does anyone know whats going on with these leaves? Thanks

Anyone know why they're not rootin. Ones is 17 days old and the rest in rockwool are 16 days old. They don't look that bad but they won't root. Some of the leaves curl upwards at the tip when I take the dome off. And I moved some of the rockwool with tweezers just to get a look at the stems, and some of them seem to developing tiny little roots. But does anyone know why the leaves curl upwards at the tip when I take the dome off for about 30 seconds? Thanks for everyones help I NEED these Jack Herer clones to root bc Im banking my whole grow on them!!!! Thanks again fellow growers

They curl up because the relative humidity goes up. They don't have roots so the 'plant' is breathing through it's leaves. Leave em alone, and touch your ass as my mom would say. ;) Well feel free to air it out daily, this way it becomes drier and the roots take hold faster..

They look great for being 15 day old cuts.. You'll have roots in a few days, maybe a week.. Those bumps at the base of the stem are the roots starting to come out.

Patience my friend, next time it will be easier.

Leave the dome on a few more days.Only remove it to mist it maybe and quickly replace it.Dont let your cubes dry out either. If they wilt/curl when removing the dome its still too early to harden them off.Harden them off a little at a time, removing and replacing dome when necessary until dome can be removed with no wilting or curling.

down with domes...what is the humidity in your space?...i would take forever to root if conditions were where i needed not to all of the time

Well I spray the dome to keep it humid, but I live at 5300 feet so its pretty dry. One of the clones showed some little roots today, hopefully the rest will follow

one clone rooted and took 19 days in rockwool, then one rooted in 8 days in rapid rooters. Same strain from the same mother. Anyone know what could cause this?

I have fantastic luck with rockwool and domes.

DazhyDro, what are your day and night temps? Cold night temps will slow things down somewhat.

The yellowing of the leaves is the cutting consuming the leaves and turning that into the energy to grow roots.

As long as they didn't wilt, and don't have mold, they're doing fine. Patience...patience...

(I'll have to give the Rapid Rooters a try next time around)
