I've never been to a cannabis cup...please explain it to me

Headed to Denver for the cup on 4/20, vip passes are sold out, hopefully I can scalp some for the fellas and I. I don't know shit about the cup, but I want the herb that's gonna be entered in the cup. I'm sure I'll find good herb on the street since it's legal, but how do I get the breeder entries. Any info would be appreciated

Hope its better than the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. I paid 50 USD and got a tiny poster and a Big Buddha mug.

The cups are just a way for some people at the top to capitalize and make money. All the cups that I went to were a waste of time and money.
