ok now since i started smokin and found out about the wonders of the dam i wanna go now i have about 900 dollars saved its hard not to buy seeds or lights but i wanna know to be on the safe side how much money should i take my g-ma buying plane ticket and my family is german/austrian so im going both places germany,amsterdam i just want to make sure i have a good time and dont come up short on cash if any one could describe their trip to the dam and total cash wspent it would be greatly appreciated

I usually go for 4 days and i take between £250-350 spending money,it all depends really on how much u smoke how many whores r gonna entice u into there little booths, man u could spend thousands there the place is awesome, i went about a month ago and took £400 and payed for my hotel for me and my girlfriend for three nights and still came home with some left, if u wanna good hotel i always stay at the green house effect coffee shop hotel nice people good rooms and its only about £30 a night, hope this is of some help.peace

if you go make sure you check out the youth hostels cheap way to stay and check up on the coffee shops before you go some will bait and switch

I've seen several posts wondering this same thing... So here's my thoughts on this. You want to go right? You want to have a good time right? Just take your credit card, have a great time, and worry about how much it cost later. From what I've heard, what's really going to cost you is where you're staying. Sounds like airfare is the cheap part.

Aye sounds like a great plan but for those that don't have credit cards go in the off season, even if its freezing ass cold, you will save money on the airfare and hostels are awesome. There is a guide somewhere about doing Amsterdam for the broke. Do a search on for it on the site and see what comes back at you.
