Ok guys im gona make this as easy as possible to read, and ill cut all the bullshit out. lol Ive done a few micro grows before, and am ready to start hangin with the big boys.lol. I moved out and have a nice size closet in my room, and am looking to create a setup to give me maximum yeild, as of now im kinda set on a 250watt hps and doing a 4 plant lst setup, however i keep seeing these sea of green grows, and am wondering if I am missing somthing, when growin sog do u get more yeild cuz there are alot of little plants, or is it just that ur flowering clones with only few days veg, so u are basicly cutting the 3 1/2 months of full grow into 2 ? if someone can clear this up for me, mabey this mite be a direction i could be headded, mabey ill make a cab with built in clone chamber veg chamber and flower. but let me know what u guys think would be the best suitiable setup for sumone myself that deff wants to maximize his yeild per grow. also btw ill be goin soil, foxfarm all the way baby !

do you have a source for clones, will you be growing from seed? if from seed, than a 2 stage cab will for sure cut down on your time between harvests...if your working with known females you can scrog & harvest as much as sog while staying away from possible manditory minimums...give more details

dr dank I will be starting off from seed, feminized, and then will probly use clones from there on, i think i decided on making a 2 chamber cab veg for the top part with cfls and high cfm pc fans, and 250 watt hps for the flower chamber, and mabey a lil later on ill build a tiny clone cab, also I have mesaurements that mite help. Im thinking it will be 2 feet deep by 2 feet wide and 4 feet 5 inches high, what do i do about ventalation and cooling ?

from the reading ive done on this subject its not that your yields is larger but the harvesting is more often. say your running with clones from a mother plant or few ok optimal SOG would be to stagger the clones entering the flowering chamber, what i mean is say ya can fit 20 clones in a space. 1st set of clones would be a set of 5 - 2 weeks later 5 more 2 weeks later 5 more so on so forth untill all 20 are in, now the fun starts your garden is set up for 2 wk intervils when harvest time comes where you'll be harvesting 5 clones every 2 weeks thus freeing up space for 5 more place them in. 2 weeks later harvest the next 5 replace with fresh clones know your doing a SOG {sea of green}.
veg time would depend on your height restrictions a 1 wk veg on a good producing strain in 1 gal containers would produce between 1/2-1oz per clone under a 400w hps growen under proper grow conditations

also i think sog can yeild higher also due to the fact you can completely pack out the growspace with buds. you can train and manipulate plants to use the space better with scrog and lst, but if you were using say 4 plants per foot you can guarentee there will be 4 colas per square foot.

venting and cooling? what can you do? i dont know, do you own your house or do ya rent...can ya vent into your attic, do you have central ac...theres a million choices...every setup is different, vent that hot air away...i really cant tell ya much without seeing your setup

jump up to a 600 hps buddy
you wont regret it.
SOG gets decent yields if you use the proper strain.
the decent yields comes from growing numerous single cola plants
each plant will yield less than a quarter ounce to half ounce
so you grow about 18 under a 600.

dr dank, i do have central AC and i think i can vent from closet to attick, im trying to go about cooling and venting as stealth and costly as possible..
