I've finally able to run 2 good sativas but I want to grow the best.

I've been growing for around 15 years and I love growing good weed from the masters.
These are a few but I never thought They were top sati vas.
I'm going to order 2 saliva strains
1)Nevilles Haze from Mr.Nice
2)SSSDH

I've tried

nl#5 X Haze
SUPER LEMON HAZE
A FEW MORE BUT BRAIN DEAD TODAY

So If you have other sati vas you would recommend as being better sati vas then the 2 I'm going to order.

Barney's Farm's Acapulco Gold is exceptional. Lotsa enthusiastic feedback and wantmores. Quite pleasantly up, no speed, get something accomlished, good production, large good looking buds not hard but not scraggly either. Tall, but controlable. Keep it very short, no topping after 2 weeks before 12/12. Just a great feel good high.

Barney's says it's from Central American genetics, but it is not original A.G. from the 70's. Real A.G. has probably been crossbred out of existence. I just couldn't call it A.G. First, it wasn't. Second, you'd hurt your credibility. At least half would think you were BSing them. I called it Tikal. 10-11 weeks.

seeds of africa has some strains that appear to be unworked field collected. my initial impression is that if you pop a pack and do good selection you might end up with some very nice stock. you need to put some effort into in line breeding on your selected phenos.

the malawi gold produced a mom for me that is extremely potent, very psychoactive, fairly quick for a landrace sativa. she has a pineapple taste, funky smell, decent frost, plenty of goo, decent bag appeal. many of the seeds did not germinate and several that did were runts. out of two packs i found one male and one female that were vigorous, hermie free and i made my first homemade p1's. i'm running quite a few clones of the female outdoors and will back cross my mg female (keeper/breeder)/mg male taking a good looking male and crossing this male back into the keeper breeder female for future seed stock. i'm keeping two female clones and doing some fem hybrids and s1's by reversing one of the two female clones. she does well indoors. very nice actually.



if you want a more finished product that doesn't require a lot of further work the go to sativa guys are ace and cbg. mandala has an excellent satori nepalese line that has two excellent phenos; sativa and indica. both are highly rated. i ran their indica bat pheno and was very pleased. their sativa is actually rated better smoke wise than their indica.

I'm sure the original genetics still exist, but somewhere in the jungles of Mexico.

I really hate how easy it is to breed plants. People have hybridized every pure land race to death. Now all we have are messed up, unstable weird hybrids that do strange things when growing and (in some cases, imo) lack the original potency and end up giving you a headache instead, or the usual burnout high.

I tried for a month to locate some pure Durban Poison. I eventually chose a seed bank that claimed their Durban Poison was pure...uncrossed.

What did I see upon growing them? A couple different Pheno's.
I'm thinking (hoping) it's the original Durban Skunk cross only. That way, it wouldn't be too far removed and one of the Pheno's may eventually be close to the original.

The Malawi Gold sounds nice Idiit!

Any of Ace's full sativas are splendid. Malawi is the most narcotic of them in my experience. I've got a nice Zambian from Tropicalseeds - they also have a 1972 Colombia Gold.
Idiit and Granger are your go to people for these questions, do what they say and you won't go far wrong, they know their sativas

One of my favourites from way back was the BCSeed co's NLxHawian indica x haze.

Very flavourful pheno's with tons of crystal and quite a yeilder if you got a nice one.

Very great taste with an enegetic and bright high that made green and yellow seem to stand out like a small amount of psycadelics..
