it is possible to pruning while flowering stage?

it my 2nd flowering week like 14~16 days, my crop's lower branch start to extend really fast.

i want to pruning them for more buds while i was harvest...

i did some prunging while in veg already but never expect those guy can grow that big and fast this time.

is it alight to pruning while in flower stage?

Yes, I do....everything that is not getting much light goes - I have no time/space for popcorn

yea

you gotta do what you gotta do for what space you have. and you just started so in about the 3 to 4 th week you see pre flowers. so a little cut isnt that bad.

I like to have all my lower branch pruning done by day 14. You're close enough...prune away.

thankz, btw anyone know how to use kool bloom?

do i mix it with other nutes or just by itself?

I grow in smaller spaces so I'm always pruning and trimming.

Veg:


Light Trim Early in Flower (20 days or so):


Heavily Trimmed in Flower (30 days in):



I mix my main nutes and let them settle for a bit, mix in my additives and let it sit for a few minutes, then finally add a tiny amount of Liquid Kool Bloom... usually 1/4 tsp in soil.

trim nothing tie the leaves outta the waytie lower branches down to spread out plant some. the plant needs all the healthy leaves it can have to create lotsa huge narly nugs. this grow i scrogged i trimmed everything not w/in 2inch from screen, i trimed all growth branches but left the fan leaves. its best to try and add a few cfl's around the bottom, being 2-3 wks into flower you'll make the plant revert energy to repairing the plant instead of producing fruit.


i want to pruning them for more buds while i was harvest... pruning wont create more fruit sites only concertrate the energy on the uppers and make them larger maybe. if height is a problem then maybe look into supercropping this will prevent it from stretchn much more and bulk up the lowers and upper sites.

just a thought to keep in mind

a indica dom strain will stretch 1-3 x size when 12/12 is started {1ft could =2-4ft}when stretch is done, a sativa dom strain can 3-5 x size

u can train them so you dont have to cut them. but it might slow down the flowering time on your main bud.

You can mix it with other nutes or by itself. Be careful how much you use, it is very strong, and only use it in the final few weeks of flower. I like to add it on the days that the plant doesn't get it's regular nutes just for a differnt flavor for the girls.
