Issue or over reacting?

I removed some yellowed, dry leaves from the bottom of my girl yesterday and today I noticed another couple of the lower leaves yellow/Brown spots/dried. I will add a photo but the grow light kind of interferes with picture. It's an auto planted in F.F.O.F. I currently use no nutes but have been using low dose of molasses (1 tsp/gal). The budding looks healthy and the upper canopy is still green. My other grows I've noticed yellowing/dying of lower leaves but feel like I'm seeing it a tad sooner. She's under 250w hps. Should I relax and make sure it stays on lower leaves or start to introduce some nutes?

I would start watering with a light dose of nutes. Nothing too crazy. And like Avinash suggested, throw in some epsom salts with it. Maybe a 1/4tsp per gallon. Wouldnt be worried too much. Looks like the amendments in soil are starting to get low is all.

Thank you both for responding. I will try that out. Currently I own zero nutes. Suggestions? From what I've read, especially since she's flowering, that I want a "bloom"? I thought of staying with F.F. brand and use their "grow big" and "tiger bloom". Any suggestions and/or guidance would be highly appreciated.

Looks like a P lockout to me. Do you ph the water you give them. Minor shit anyway. Your plants look great, wouldn't be too concerned. As far as nutes those will work just don't overdo it. Use less than recommended dose as they always recommend too high. Go feed/water/water/feed, don't feed everyday.

I've been testing ph of the run off and nothing has been alarming. Around 7. I also have a soil tester, I understand they're not super accurate, and the needle dances between 6 and 7. I use strips for the run off. Is it worth paying for a pen and dealing with the storage solution and calibration fluids? I assume, but I know how assumptions can go, that I can add Epsom salt to gallon jug and once it's dissipated I can add nutes and mix it all?

Classic potassium deficiency. Get some seaweed extract or K2SO4, or any decent potassium source. I disagree on the magnesium, will only make things worse.

If using a soil like FFOF without nutes, you don't really want to be watering to runoff at all. Thats where all your potassium went, out the bottom.

It's not a lot of run off. I slowly water and once I see some come out I don't add anymore. I usually add a little over two pints each watering. Although this is the first time I've grown with this setup. My previous was done in 2 space buckets but I upgraded to a tent and plants are in 5 gallon planters. I've ordered some nutes and will add that next watering. Grow and learn! Thank you for all the input.

You don't need a pen. Buy the GH drops to check ph with, foolproof and always accurate. Don't worry about runoff ph, only the ph of what you put in. I agree with space case, forget using epsom or calmag. Time for them puppies to be getting bloom nutes. Thats where you'll get your P, time to feed them.

Try watering a little less. Let your soil get real dry, and then run a timer to see how long it takes to get run off, then subtract about 15 seconds. Thats how long you should be watering. Your K will be the first thing to go when you get runoff, so rather than spending more money on fertilizers, you can just water less and keep more nutes in your soil by eliminating leaching. You should only water to run off if you think there is too much of something. Make sense?

Thanks

Thanks

I just wanted to thank all of you again for the input. I believe I have it under control now. Just seeing the lower fan leaves yellowing and falling off while the uppers are looking good. She's looking healthy and developing trichs.

Good advice... Foxfarm liquid nutes can fry a plant be careful
