Island Sweet Skunk Hortilux MH-Blue 2000W test

Well here we go again. 18 Island Sweet Skunk plants These are 1 week in to flower. I let them veg 60 days and toped twice. This grow I'm testing out the new Hortilux MH - Blues 2000W


I did not post this in the orginc soil cause Im testing the Dutch Master folar program. From what I've read this is good stuff. Everything else is all organic.

Very interesting grow. Ive heard a lot of good things about the blue colored bulbs and PAR watts. Plants look great!

I have grown them and they will stretch like all hell. Do your branches seem rubbery? They are really slow to get nice buds but once they do it is not uncommon to tie branches up...........

Well I've been growing the ISS for around 3 years and its leggy period. I've tried a little bit of everything with them and the best I can do is top twice and let them grow. I like big plants always have and I've found out the larger you let them get the more they produce. I hope that thes end up around 48 inches tall.

Yes sir I use the Penatrator with folitech,max-fx, and nytrozyme.

I use pure pro blend soil, top max, sweet, ej cat, molasses, fox farm soil and some other stuff from time to time.. Ill let yall know I'm drawing a blank right now

No sir I've never ran CO2 I vent 24/7 next place is going to be a seeled room so Ill run CO2 then.

Wow lush and green. that place is forreal gonna feel up .. is that mh gonna be sufficient enough for flowering or are you gonna throw in an hps? keep it green!

MH should be plenty look into the Hortilux MH-Blue buld. The spectrum on this bulb blows everything you could ever want. Yes i would like for it to be a little brighter but I already see an improvment. I'm just a bit over 3 weeks and they are blowing up more bud sites then before and the amount of flowers that have already produced is amazing. Ill post some close ups of some of the buds.

Thats one of the reasons for this thread is to test out these new bulbs..

Keep in mind the ISS will stretch a lot. I veged for 60 but topped twice. I don’t like topping twice with this strain you end up with smaller bud and I don’t like that. From now on ill only top once to get the large colas I like. The weight will prob be the same but I prefer large colas over a lot of buds.

Good to hear those bulbs are kicking ass. When i looked at the spectrum of them online i was blown away. hope harvest is a good one.

Sweet I have been looking for one of these posts for a while as I was looking to conduct a similar experiment between breeding projects. Im assuming you have flowered the ISS previously under hps? Have you previously flowered the ISS under any mh? Do you have any of the hps ISS stashed for a comparative high/taste test?

Have you noticed any difference in trichome developement, scent, or overall stickyness to the plant?
