I live in a very unfriendly state. 1 plant=felony. I do a series of three grows during winter for myself under twin 250 W HPS in a 2x4 foot area along with a closet mom/veg chamber. I have a can 100 and a vortex to match all hidden in a secret room behind cabinets. No way anyone could just find this. I keep my shit straight, knowing what's at stake. No room for error.
I have an inlaw living with us in an apartment I built for her. A couple days ago she fell and broke shit we had to call an ambulance to get her taken care of.
So, in that immediate place in time and space I had to think" I need 20 minutes before you call", or,....
I thought about it and decided, in what could easily have been the turning point in my life, no, my shit is tight, I can do this.
So I go to the driveway and wait...then I see a cop car drive by....then after a few minutes he comes back and turns in, followed shortly by the ambulance. He gets out directly under the gable vent that vents the attic air that my blower dumps into. My heart is pretty much pounding. He seems a bit unfriendly as we make initial contact. Then the ambulance pulls in and we all go INSIDE the house to her apartment. I leave and let the EMT's and all do their thing and go back out to the drive where everyone is parked and the cop comes around the corner, makes some small talk and leaves.

It is now! I also live in a VERY unfriendly state and i grow for my own needs. Well my mom comes to the house to help me with something and spots a light leak in my cab and investigates (noisy) she ask about it and i knew then i was busted but she knows my situation and told me to get my shit together! Got to love moms! So i tore down only 2 weeks in veg and rebuild. It would take an act of GOD for anyone to find it now!

Personally I would never even consider growing if 1 plant = felony....maybe outside....you got balls of steel my friend, good luck. that must have been one hell of adrenaline rush~

Thats gotta look hilarious. Are you running an 8" Fan on it?

I think your largest risk is actually getting that thing IN/OUT unnoticed.

I run Can 33's almost all the time, but late in flower I run the big boy. It is pretty permanent, buried within the build. I thought it was stupid when I bought it, plus I thought I was going to do something differently. Of course, now I am glad. I run a 4"vortex with the 33 and 6" on the 100. Sometimes at night with lights out I run the small fan. It's always a balance. Running C99 helps a lot with its very low odor.
The thing is,every one of you should expect that your home will be visited and look at it that way. Someone can have a seizure, fall, have a heart attack. As soon as the 911 call goes out the clock is certainly ticking. I felt very confident if not ready to poop my fucking pants.

o moved to cali to get legal. first time cops were here they never noticed the grow. second time the crossdressing roomate ratted me out.he was removed by police and my grow was checked and verified. so no worries here

So tight it squeaks. less than 30db noise and light tight. Two cabs under 4 square feet, harvest 20grams/month. Marshal comes by to chat once in a while. Cool as hell, man.
