Is ti possible to put a muffler on the end portable A/C exhaust hose?

When the portable kicks on and the cold air begins to come out i notice the exhaust is extra loud. I have it hooked up to vent going outside. I should note that my portable has an intake hose also.

So i was thinking of putting a muffler or silencer on the exhaust hose to decrease the noise, perhaps even changing the plastic duct with insulated ducting.

thoughts, opinions?

thanks

If your portable ac is in your grow the sound from the exhaust is the least of your problems. The smell is directly transferred to the outside and it stinks worse cause its hot as shit

its a dual port Portable A/C. intake is port i have hooked up to the window. I also have a scrubber which does the job.

fan==600w==filter==600w=fan==

i pull air and push over light one and i have directly connected to flange pulling air. i seal up edges along reflector. i was considering a muffler on the intake and exhaust but not sure which one just yet...im still testing the fan controllers.

my only potential problem is the noise when the a/c kicks on....its loud
