Shes only about 60 hours old, but someone told me I should be concerned about the color of the stem (that it isn't green)

Input?

So basically when its still early on, the coloring on the stem doesn't really matter?

yeah it's fine

i've grown out just over a hundred seeds, and most of them look like that...

just keep watering, and feed it (lightly) when grows out of the seedling phase...it only gets easier after that.

I can already see this is going to be a fun grow. :D

The seedling looks great, just as Primo said. If you find it flawed; I'll be happy to take it off your hands. :D

happy growing.

:yeahthats what she said

that's funny. It is a fine line between 'on it' and 'bugging'. I tend to do a lot of both.

Be careful, the soil looks a little blurry...

You have a healthy seedling there, no worries. I have found that most seedlings have reddish stems shortly after germing, like shown. As the seedling grows, that red skin will split as the stem grows fatter, and the green colour will show.

Some of mine are at this stage where the stem's skin is splitting, they will shed the cots soon. I would take a pic, but lights are off - I'll take one for tomorrow later when lights come on to show what I mean... :rasta:

Peace

New post for pics, had them edited into last post but "save changes" button would not respond so I'll put 'em here in a new post...

See the splitting of the skin? This is normal growth of the stem and its bark. But the 1st time, it'll split the reddish skin to green skin underneath. Hehe, these ones are even trying to grow leaves from under the cots... :rasta:

Peace
