Is this the Claw?

So is this the dreaded claw?
DWC, the water is cool
I have bubbles
Dont know what the PPM is
LifeSaver day 39 flower
Using regular GH 3 part
flushed once at the switch to 12/12
last feeding was on the 22nd, plain filtered water since then
My PH tester only goes to 6.0, so I am somewhere above or at 6.0.

The fan leaves are the main problem. The smaller growth looks fine right now.
Would I be right to just flush them ?

MoFo- that looks all too familar. I wish I could help. I have a thread on this
subject as well- "Genetics or Black Thumb"

Did this start prior to flowering ? A good flush sure couldn't hurt

Too much N I believe.

Definitely looks like some type of overfert by browning tips.

bilgeweed - this started after flowering.

Sauce- thats what i thhnk also. The tips were actually burnt on the lights before I could get them out of the way.

Is this bad for my girls at this point? 2 weeks left to harvest.

Uh...I get this problem every fucking grow and I can't figure it out. It only affects the leaves coated in resin near the bud sites...I don't get it. No fan leaves affected...

I thought I narrowed it down to too much Nitrogen...so this grow I made sure to cut the veg nutes early and go full bloom. This didn't seem to help at all...same shit happened to my OG kush this grow. I do use quite a bit of cal-mag...which is 2-1-1...I think im going to stop using it until I get visible MG deficiency.

This is so frustrating...anyone have any input?

Couch - I am using the amounts that are on the bottle. I dont have the bottle on me but what ever the last amount on the bottle is what i used, i think it was 1-2-3.

Ogstradamus - Is it happening with clones of the same plant or difftent plants?

The claw...

The claw...

It does look like to much N, look how dark green they are. With 2 weeks to go you want them to start useing up that excess N now so it doesn't get stuck in there at harvest, which will make'em taste like shit. Also try adding more air to your rez.If nothing else jus to see if it helps(plants in soil that get over watered will look like this too).Imo there is 2 things that cause the claw and that is to many nutes mainly N.or not enough air to the roots. The key to hydro (and soil for that matter) is getting lots of air to the roots(roots it's all in the roots lol). The more air the bigger and the faster they'll grow.Hope this helped, good luck...take care BC

Thanks for the info BC. I deff have more than enough air going into the roots. It looks like i really need a rez change.

Yeah if you are 2 weeks from harvest I'd cut all the nutes and start flushing. Overferted plants will take a little longer depending on the severity. Yours don't look too bad so I wouldn't worry about it. Your leaves looked fucked up but at least there's very little dead tissue.

one more thing...

one more thing...

I just thought of something else that will cause this condition. It's called reverse osmosis. If ya don't change your rez often enough this can occure. What happens is that salt will build up around the roots, the plant responds to this by reversing the direction of the water/nutes back out to flush it's self.In other word pushing the salt away from the roots. If it's let go to long it will cause root rot.I learned this growing swc.lol in swc if they reach this point they are about done for,but dwc is a lot more forgiving. So I'd change my rez and rinse the roots real good with plain water.I also think it would be a good idea to flush from here on out.I can't beleive I didn't think of this before,duuhhhh!.... too much hashplant I reckon...lol... BC - I am hoping root rot is not the case. The rez water is cool to the touch, unless that wont help.

but the flushings will start.
