is this pretty much what nute burn looks like?

same as my other pic but a much bigger plant. any hope of saving it? i think it was Better-Gro orchid bloom non organic crystals wit no urea, 11-35-15 that i gave it.

can see much by the pic but the plant is turning white. white spots in all the leaves and some of the leaves just all white now. i have already flushed it out with about two gallons of water. it is in a 8 inch pot not quite a gallon's worth.



gotta feelin it's gonna die. 2 parts organic compost, 2 parts perlite, 2 parts miracle grow potting soil, ph water is 6.6 to 7. 1000W HPS, good ventilation. water when they need it: drooping. @one gal. jug about 1 mo into 12/12. clone of something but i don't know what.

Miracle Gro soil is shitty for mj, BTW.

in normal light it looks like my little plant. green with lots and lots of white spots. doesnt look good man.

I wasn't new when I said hello to you in the Introduce Yourself forum. You know, if I ever need a new sig quote, I could just follow your posts around.

It's not that the picture sucks, it's just that it's hard to tell what's going on with your plant, color-wise.

It does look like nute burn, from what I can tell from that pic. Your pot is also very small. If it were my plant, I would flush it again and transplant into some decent soil in no less than a 2 gallon pot.

Your soil mix is pretty good except for the Miracle Gro part. If you're gonna use compost, try to use a seed-starting type soil.

really? the only other way i got is my moisture meter, but i thought that sticking in into the ground/roots all the time to check the moisture was tearing up the roots and partially responsible for them croaking off.

can the root system tolerate the two prongs of the moisture meter stabbing them every day?. or do i have to write post-its on my plants every time i water.

i will get another pic of that plant, it basically isnt turning white as much as its turning kahki.. i'll try to get a pic on there and find my camera now.





and now babys doing the same thing. cloned about a month ago, first repot to a 3" pot about3 weks ago and down hill ever since. repotted into the 4" deep pot you see it in now. sprinkled alitte, like 15 grains of blood meal in the bottom of the roots and now this. flushed and didnt do any good. why would it, it's not gonna wash out the blood meal. maybe i have to repot, shake out the dirt from the bottom of the roots real good and put in fresh stuff?

.....Yeah. I have been dealing with problems due to temps and I figured I throw that out there. 65 is too cold. Just leave the light on and let the plant medium dry out for a few days.

yeah. You should just let the medium in your plant get dry till it needs feeding. Then mix up a new batch of just regular nutrients. Do not get crazy and add a bunch of stuff. In a matter of a few weeks yoour ladies should be good as new. Be patient dude. Patience pays off.

Give them a good flush with PH'ed water. Are you using RO water or tap? Whats your medium? too many undefined variables to give you a definitive answer.

Save yourself all this grief and frustration next grow.

Get a bit of Floranova Grow and a quart or whatever of Floranova Bloom.

5ml/gal of Grow during veg (use RO water) They might eat more. If they look a little pale, but not burned at the tips, give em a bit more

Bloom is dead simple. Use 8ml/gal of RO water. That's it.



I feed at 1/3rd str every watering. You can give them full str and plain RO water the next 2 waterings also.

It's dead simple and the nutes are killer and economical. The best part is that your plants love it.

The only thing is that the nutes need to be fully shaken up before using and they're THICK. (dont' worry, the solution you mix up is not thick as you barely use any of this stuff at all)

yes, that is what i used to do before i bought my meter. guess i will get back to that budninja, hempninja, uh WEED ninja!. i read the lift the pot method in your link. i liked this line the best


ps... Sticking your finger into your soil is horrible dryness test and should NOT be practiced. There is no way your finger can tell just how moist or wet the soil is deeper down in the planter where the majority of the roots may be suffering from overwatering. Not to mention stressing the plants from you jamming your digit into the medium every day. Arrrgh...Stop doing that !
