These are at about 3 weeks veg. All started out good now they are starting to look a little crinkled. but other than that they seem to be growing well. started having probs at second week. Miracle grow mix and only fed bottled water. plants grown from seed. usually use miracle grow moisture control mix but this was all i could get at the time

thanks

they don't look so bad

it looks close to transplanting time...choose a good quality potting soil..1 ~ 2 gal pot size...go easy on the chemo ferts, the potting soil will have sufficient nutes for the first few weeks of grwoth at leat so long as you don't leach it all out with over frequent waterings....add ferts every second watering..veg for 6 ~ 8 weeks, transplant into 3 ~ 5 gal pots, veg for another 10 days then flower them

chamba hit it right on the nail, it's a defiantly time to transplant it into a pot, I would use at least a 2 gallon size pot.

12 in tall plants use a minimum of 1 gallon size pot I cant tell if the plants are or not because the graininess of the pictures.

How often are you watering?

I would avoid moisture control, a lot of strains do not like that mixture and causes all kinds of issues because it holds to much water for cannabis roots.
I know you are not using it now, but I am telling you so it won't happen to you in the future and you coming back here with other issues :)

Is there anyway you can get better pictures?

Also how long have they been in this soil? Since they were sprouted?

What kind of bottled water are you using? Make sure it does NOT have sodium in it. They use it for better taste and it is very bad for plants, not to mention cannabis will absorb sodium before any other nutrient and it causes blockage and collapse of the tubes that carry nutrients.

So avoid water that has sodium listed on the label, or "added taste" that would be labeled on the bottle.

I also can't tell from th color of the plant because the grain in the pictures. SO I can't tell if the plant is that dark of a color or the picture is causing it to look that way. So without better pictures I could not tell you if it is or not... maybe someone else can tell but it's to hard for me to make a 100% diagnosis so that is the only advice I can give is what I listed in my post untill I see more pictures that are clearer.

These are the best pics I can get. Gave my good cam to my daughter and she moved outta state. anyhow I'm using Le Nature water 0% sodium but does list ingredients as purified water, calcium choride, magnesium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate. however they don't look root bound at all just starting to see the roots thru the container(clear). And yes they are becoming extremely dark in color at the problem area (almost black] I only water when pots become very lite. In the past I have allways let my plants get a little rootbound before moving them to the net pots it seems to make the roots come out of the net pots a little more uniformly when i switch to the bubblers. This is my first go with this strain. Bottom pic is another strain starting to do the same thing that I have ran before. Hence the reason I thought it might be nute related. I'll see if maybe I can borrow a better cam Thanks guys

if it is nute related, dark colors can be caused by to much nitrogen and if it is that case it's the slow release ferts that are in the soil. Next time when you transplant I would mix 50/50 with another soil to bring down the amount of pre relase ferts in there.

MG soil sucks now unless you dilute it because the slow release ferts can be strong for some strains.

and If I were you I would transplant, and I am sure everyone here will agree with me when they see the size of that thing the plant is in :)

There are some questions about using clear containers because of roots, I have used gallon size ice cream containers and plants grew very well. I even grew the same plant both clones one in clear and the other in the same size pot but not clear they both grew out the same. So I have never had problems with clear containers, but I am sure if someone posts here they will make a comment about it.

also have you checked your ph? If not you need to do so by getting some ph test strips and testing run of water from the bottom of the pot. Or get a digital ph pen and test the run off water making sure it is calbrated before using it though......
