Is this over watering?

so I've been water plants for couple months in soil and when soil drys up I water them the leafs right after watering will droop as if heavy with water no nute issues

my question is it normal for leaves to droop after every watering or should I be waiting longer in-between watering's

How often are you waiting, how big of pots are they, how much water are adding, how big are plants. So many factors. Depends on when water them, I know my plants droop an hour before lights out, and when there on the verge of being dried out they droop.

What kind of soil are you using? Maybe it's too compacted and holding too much water. How often are you watering? Are you waiting until the soil is almost completely dry, or just the top layer? Pictures would help.

hello/Banana

hello,

this is perfectly normal, but may indicate you are waiting too long before watering -

when the medium is "that dry" - the plants cells are obviously running out of water (water is used to keep themselves rigid).

- so when you give them water, the "non rigid" cells get weighed down as they get filled back up again / revert back to normal.

-----------

i don't think it's too good an idea to let them go too de-hydrated though, as i think it can cause salt build up in the medium as they take up water alot quicker then nutrients, and it can make the levels go a bit iffy (??)

unless i just made that up - (i dunno how "soluble" "water soluble" nutrients are (???)).

- maybe give them a bit more quickly though and see if they appreciate you for it ?

my 2p anyway.

regards,
