is this nuteburn or some deficiency?

F

Hi was wondering if anyone can help me out with this.
picture.php

I have 3 satoris (who are sensitive to nutes) they have yellowish brown colours on the buttom and middle fanleaves some actually have holes inside. The plants are about 30 days old from seed.
Is it sunburn or nuteburn or some deficiency?

Thanks for all the help.

What are you feeding at what strength? Are you spraying your plants in direct sunlight? What is the ph of your medium, nutes going in and runoff?

700 ppm about little more little less sometimes. yes I feed until it runs off.
I sprayed the plants about 2 weeks ago with Neem oil but during the evening.

I want to say calcium deficiency. What is your medium, cocoa core right? And none of your nutrients have calcium in them? I'm thinking either calcium or phosphorus but im leaning toward calcium. Go get some fish bone meal and top dress it. That will take care of both, lol.

Only calmag has it and I haven't used so much of that on these plants. Im using atami bio mix soil which has a little cocoa inside with perlite and other 5.0-6.5 soil. what do you mean with top dressing it? sorry im a noob :p
thanks for all the help coastal

He means adding it to the top of the pots so when you water youre watering that in too. I would suggest cal mag if thats the issue bc youll get immediate relief. Top dressing will take 1-2 weeks to break down and become readily uptakable. And i was asking what ph your feed is as well as your medium and the runoff. You should be measuring all three. I suspect ph or my second guess would be cal def.

Id flush it good with water and give it Revive and maybe some earth juice

Could you please explain your logic here? You say you think it's a micro nutrient deficiency so you recommend flushing it? And you say it may even be magnesium.. It isn't magnesium. Don't listen to this guy.

This is solid information though.

Good call. Maybe cut back nutes slightly also. Ph to 6.6-6.8. You want runoff around 6.2

dam I had not checked the ph and ec because almost all o them were doing perfectly fine. I watered them now and checked runoff which was way off!!! :( one of them was 5.2 ph and other two were at 6.0 ph. EC was crazy high like 1400 ppm. So I flushed em with distilled water again.
What else should I do now to get ph down and ec down?
and in future what ph should the water be at when you water the plants?
thanks for all the help crooked

A ph of 7 is neutral right? Neutral is always good. As try to stay as close as you can to neutral to avoid nutrient lockout. That other guy was saying stay just on the acidic side of neutral. That makes sense.

Okay but I decided not to add any nutricients anymore in the water untilI get the ec way down. I'll just water with a 7.0 ph water

Okay the ph is around 6.8 -6.9 now with ec going down to below 600 ppm but strange thing is one of the plants had leaves that look kinda of dead like just hanging down but the stem on the leaves is green while the leaf is wrinkled and looked totally dead.

keep in mind that most cal mag products have nitrogen as well. If you treat with cal mag and they respond positively, it might be the nitrogen and not the cal mag thats helping you out. just a thought.
