Yes.
Nutrients will take awhile to stabilize.
What nutes you using? Organic tends to do that alot.
WHy so low at 5.5??

I dont know what ph is suitable really for rockwool cubes. I use a dutch nute line called Hesi, their stuff is supposed to be good for noobs like me first time. how long in advance are you supposed to mix the solution, 24h? And why the hell is my tapwater ph 8 and EC 0,3, does a pe-filter help
arrrrhh

pH 8 and EC 0.3 because your water contains very slight amounts of metals and
carbonate molecules which make it slightly alkaline.....that is not uncommon....

pH for rockwool is supposed to be a bit on the acidic side (5.8-5.6 is a good target)...

Hesi is supposed to be a very good nute......holler if you have issues...

ok this is en example:

I fill a cup (8 oz) with water+nutes+enzymes, put the airpump into the solution, lower the ph to 5.5

- if the airpump stays in the solution the ph increased rapidly, usually by 0,01 every 20 seconds

- if I just leave it be, it increases also but at a much slower rate

What am I to think?
