yeah I saw this the other day when I was buying a 600. Its sick because I just got my 600 digital ballast and they are sooo nice, no noise, smaller, and efficient. I'm going to be buying the 1000 watt digital ballast for my 1000 hood.

Ouch! That is nuts... the hydroponics.net price is almost half that and you get a small hood too boot. It might need some DIY out of the box to work for a grow instead of hanging in a greenhouse but I'm OK with that if it will save me close to 50%...
