sorry for the poor quality but im not a good camera man....
some details
in 50% soil and 25% of each perelite and vermiculate (sp?)
using flora nova bloom and flora nova grow
about 3 or 4 weeks into flower ..not totally sure but trichs started showing up like a week ago.
i don't think it is an N deficiency. it might even be over-ferting. the leaves seem to be sagging for some reason too. pH maybe. Are you growing under CFL's?
Big flush to get rid of what's in there. pH the water to about 5.8 before you flush. Wait a couple of days to see if they perk up. If during those couple of days the leaves stop drooping, start back at half what you were feeding them. If leaves still look good next feeding, go up in nutes about 0.1-0.2 ec and start watching the leaves to see what you need to do.
The leaves that aren't affected are too dark to me to be a N def in my opinion. I grow in coco so no over watering probs but droop show up when you over water.
Whatever it is, if it's nutrient related, a flush is where I'd start. IMHO. Make sure pH is where it needs to be for the medium you're growing in.
well the funny thing is..before i watered it yesterday the plant was dry and the pot it was in was very light. i dont htink itd had water in over a week lol
could be quite normal imho......how long does she needs 2 flower ...if its a 8 weeks strain i would't take it 2 serious ...could be she loses some leaves Bcoz she's finishing up...
to check the mediums ph i use distilled water and check the run off? i have no idea howlong it flowers as im poor and can only use bagseed right now...and i started from 12/12 (thats why they are so small) and found out that 12/12 form seed is more of a pain than anything.
Vermiculite is not really good to be using indoors because it retains too much water.
How much floranova bloom are you using? 100 ppm nitrogen is what you want in flower to keep the leaves from prematurely dropping off. This would be 6.5 ml floranova bloom per gallon of water.
Are you adjusting fert water ph? Try aiming for ph 6 after you have added the floranova to the water.
Floranova has alot of phosphorus. So much that it could be a problem after repeated waterings in a soil/soilless mix. Ideally, you should use a fert with a ratio like 1-0-1 to give the media a break from all that p. Maybe not use floranova and use a no p fert instead every 3rd or 4th watering. A mixture of calcium nitrate and potassium nitrate works good for this.
You said you tested the ph but never said what you came up with?
Remember to really shake the floranova before each use.
i was using normally 1 teaspoon of the bloom. i was guessing i needed more so last watering (yesterday) i used 2 teaspoon of bloom and one of grow. i always make the ph of the water at around 6.6-6.8 and when i checked it after it ran threw the pot..it was like 6.2. is that good? i waited about 30 mins and ran some distilled water threw but that read out at like 6 so i was totally lost. am i even checking it right? im guessing i should only fert like every other watering? i was suing a lower dose so i could just use it every watering but thats not working aparently. i was givin some bad advice when i first started and mistakenly mixed all my dirt/perelite/vermiculate together so i cant change that. next grow im gonna do both soil and hydro as ill have more space. i know i may stink at growing and hydro is prolly gonna be worse for me but id rather take the learning curve now rather than later. id flush it but i added some slow release ferts by mistake and as far as i know everytime id go to flush id just be "flushing more ferts"...
2 teaspoons fnbloom and 1 teaspoon fngrow is too much ferts. Maybe that is the droopy look the plants have. Slow release ferts are a no no indoors. Better to use them to keep ferts in the soil when there is heavy rains outdoors.
yeah like i said some bad advice and learners curve . i think ive done everything wrong that i can on this grow yet they still keep growing...ill drop the ferts down and water down the mix i got for next time...and ill use just water next time as to even out somewhat for the over ferting...i swear im garden-retarded LOL
Flush. Then use 1 1/4 teaspoon fb bloom per gallon of water with every watering. Sounds like the ph is ok. I bet too much p is the culprit here. A couple of examples of low p ferts is peters 15-0-15 and 13-2-13. You would use those instead at 100 ppm nitrogen rather than fn bloom. You can make your own by using calcium nitrate and potassium nitrate mixed together. That is basically what the 15-0-15 is but also has micros. 20% of your fert water should pour out the bottom drain holes. You want runoff.
Flush now while wet. You used too much ferts. You got about 280 ppm nitrogen when you only need 100 ppm n in flower. If you allow the soil to get dry, it will make it worse. The soil gets saltier as it gets dryer.
Right on Indica Sativa, like we said. FLUSH, get it all right and re-fert. pH sounds a little on the high side too goin in. 5.8-6.2 I'd think in soil...
