Is this Light Burn?

Having a tough time here deciding on the problem. new set up. my first thought is scald from LEDs being too close to the canopy (102 watts of screw in LEDs about 12 inches up) but my plants in VEG and early flower look great even closer to the lights! Im Running LCs soiless mix number 1. topdressed with compost and a complete organic fertilizer. had fantastic results with this mix outdoor this year. any advice greatly appreciated!

It's not light burn. Plants are deficient imho, I had symptoms like that once. Probably multiple elements lacking P K and Ca. It's possible that it could be the opposite end of the scale and they are over fed, I never experienced that so not sure what it looks like. How closely did you stick to the recipe?

Thank you for your input Moses. I use lc mix #1 for everything now following the recipe exactly. To this I top dress Steve Solomon's complete organic fertilizer.

If you were top dressing outdoors, you can't use the same amounts indoors on plants confined to containers. I suspect your problem is related to that!

LC’s Soiless Mix #1:

5 parts Canadian Sphagnum Peat or Coir or Pro-Moss
3 parts perlite
2 parts worm castings or mushroom compost or home made compost
Powdered (NOT PELLETED) dolomite lime @ 2 tablespoons per gallon or 1 cup per cubic foot of the soiless mix.

To this I add a tablespoon of COF per quart.

Complete Organic Fertilizer (COF) Recipe
Mix uniformly, in parts by volume:
4 parts seed meal
1/4 part ordinary agricultural lime, best finely ground
1/4 part gypsum (or double the agricultural lime)
1/2 part dolomite lime
Plus, for best results:
1 part bone meal, rock phosphate or high-phosphate guano
1/2 to 1 part kelp meal (or 1 part basalt dust)

The dolomite is added to the soil mix and again in your top dress recipe.
How much of the top dress are you applying?
When you grew outdoors was it in containers or directly in the ground?

I once applied too much dolomite lime to my indoor plants and they suffered exactly the same symptoms as your pics. What happens is the excess lime locks out other elements and that is why plants appear deficient. It usually takes effect first few weeks of flower when the lime becomes available. Younger plants may seem unaffected because the lime is not yet available for the veg phase.

it is not the lights...MW is on the ball IMO...flush and re balance, seaweed from my experience really helps plants recover...

good luck

satollo86...welcome...but it would be better to start your own thread and better pics
