Is this iron deficiency?

Hey Guys,

This is my first ever grow and I am growing a Supreme CBD Lemon OG auto. The soil mix that I am using is biobizz light mix top half and bio biz all mix on the bottom. But my plants look like it has an iron deficiency or something.
I have it in a 3 gallon smartpot under a 30w SanLight M30(I have a second for flowering). The space I am growing in is 40 x 40 x 80 cm tent, so its quite small. I keep the humidity at 55 - 65% and the temp around the plant at 66 - 74 F. I also use a soil humidity meter and have only needed to water once when it got down to 26%. The first watering before i planted the seed I used tap water that was not PH adjusted. I later took a reading and the PH is 9.3 from the tap. For the second watering I used citric acid to get the ph down to 6.5 . I am planning on putting two biotabs into the soil when the plant is around 2 weeks old. I took a ph reading of the soil it says 6.5 - 7 but its a crappy analog meter. I think I might need to test the runoff water when I water next time.

what do you think, does it look like an iron deficiency to you and can you give any advice on how to fix it.

Cheers,

Will

Looks like too much of something . How good is your tap water ? Looks like too much iron ... I would check the ppm of your tap water.

What type of light is that?

If ur going to ph correct, correct it to 7ph, age water for 24 hours.. Give it nothing but water for a week or two, sparingly! Don't over water that baby. See how she goes.. Cannas trace mix is a great additive u can give them if she is lacking but looks to me her roots got abit hot.

Thanks guys, yeah definitely too much or little of something. I am going to get an EC meter and see what the tap water is like. I just took a ph reading again and its freaking 9.8 from the tap :/ I am going to buy some spring water and see if that helps.

I might have fucked up this first grow because I poped the biotabs into the soil yesterday out of frustration. Oh well I have 4 more seeds of the same strain and 10 white widows :D I can screw up a few times more, haha.

Here is some info on the light. It should be great especially for smaller spaces, its only 30W but have very high PPFD-values. I have two of them, one for vegging and two for flower.

like you already know, your ph is way to high.. prob K and Ca
calibrate your ph pen to make sure and then ph your next mix to 6
and yeah no food if your are in light mix at that age..
peace

She looks much better now, the new leafs are green and the first sets are turning green again :D I bought a water filter that makes hard water soft and sprayed her with biotabs boomboom spray once. I also ph adjusted the water to 6.5.

Use urea or ammonia N to get pH to go down. Citric is good and plants tolerate low pH from citric, but it degrades to neutral within days and requires constant feed. Thats a positive though because rest assured too much citric will go to neutral with no intervention in 1 week max.

Its a good idea to add micros unless they are labeled high.

Looks like youre on the rich track so far.

Oh, and it seems that the problem with the plant was that I had the light too close to the plant. I moved it higher up and no problems after that. The yellowing and curling was from led burn and too hot air.
