can I get anything to add to it so I can smoke buds on it? I want it for extracts and bud. Help appreciated as I am a water pipe virgin.

Mobius is great glass. That has a stereo matrix perc that will be hard to get flower chunks out of when smoking buds.

Only concern would be splash to your mouth and cleaning.

I dont know the currency conversion to USD but here in the states Mobius is big bucks. A few hundred dollars plus.

Surely you could add a screen? like a disc of metal mesh like sieve?

Is that a reasonable price then? £80 is $105

I went on the Mobius website but its not shown. They show only 2015 or 2016 pipes. Is this a 2017 model?

You can use any 14.5 mm bowl you like. I think that is a nail rig, hard to tell and i am not a oil guy, but you can use a different bowl.

Nice piece for the money.

Have no idea what Mobius is doing these days. Nice glass.

The problem with eBay anymore is that so much of the crap sold on there are counterfeit. When buying from eBay do some homework on how to spot the counterfeits of what ever brand you're looking at and read the description very carefully, often times they'll slip the word "generic" in there very slyly so you won't notice.

In my experience the finer the diffusers the less friendly for bud they are

If that is not a fake I would grab that ASAP before it's too late.never seen a mobius go that cheap.at the very least you could sell it for at least what you paid

Ok I contacted the seller who assured it is genuine and legit Möbius so I ordered one. The seller is local too so that's more encouraging.


I have buyer protection and the sellers word to fall back on at least.

I got stainless screens for the bowl - 20mm. That should keep chunks out of the matrix

That's awesome.you made the right decision.your gonna wanna play with the water levels to find out what you like best.I would use just enough water to cover the perc.also maybe try to get a glass screen if you can get one.look on EDIT.it's in your country and they are cheap.have fun.you made a good buy

thanks man I appreciate the help getting this right. I started looking at pipes thinking my budget would mean a pretty basic piece so Im really pleased. That's great about the glass filter, I'll get one as I don't really like the idea of bringing metal into the equation.

I had an idea... would Pumice or some other porous stone be good material for a screen? Super fine screen, natural volcanic rock? I thought you could use a hole saw in a drill without the arbour to cut cylinders you then slice into screens. I do get carried away lol

I already there! Ive been looking at them at a pretty good place I found. The key to more choice seems to be adapting it to 18.8 mm - far more bit in that size it seems. I want a big bowl with screen for bud and a quartz nail for oil. Tell me if Im missing anything though because I haven't chosen them yet. Just brands and models/types is all I need to go on
