is this a so-called hermie? if so, what do i do with it? is it still smokeable? i hope it is not! but i am curious, please excuse my ignorance, i am still learning

Emm, doesn't look like it to me. Just looks like the preflowers are puffing up a bit. Thats pretty normal. Some will puff up and look like they are seeded. But they are fine. Just filling up with the good ol res.

Nope - Those are just fat female preflowers. The male 'balls' are a little smaller and more clustered.

If it has white hairs, it's female.

But some female flowers don't have white hairs at first, so never get rid of a plant until you're sure.

The thing I've found about sexing is once you've grown and seen a male, a female, and a hermie, they're much easier to spot next time.

word of advice you should never outright touch the nug you;ll destroy the trichromes where ya touched use a small pointer. now the plant reverts some energy to try and heal that part. the closer to harvest time the flowers swell with resin's, also at lights on they seem more swelled then at lights out least my grows ive noticed this

Definately a female but will turn hermy if ya keep poking and squeezing the nuggs which can put undesired stress and cause hermaphrodites. I know it smells hella nice when ya do it and ya can show ya friends how it smells but its gonna hurt ya harvest in the long run.
