I am looking for a Indoor Automatic Watering System what you think of that?

Drain to waste, means what drains out is waste. It gets chucked away. Not used again, as in recirculated.

First point of interest is net pots. There is a very limited audience for them. I'm not on the fence, I'm as interested as I am in halo's and sticking my knob in PCbuds fan. They are a thread of their own to read through

I would go with dtw inodors as well, especially for small grows that don't justify learning and testing the extra mile to make recirculation work as it should. Leave recirculated nutes to other plants we use, leafy greens would do much better in a system like that, with a bit more imprecise food ratios.

I don't mind recirculation systems if it's rockwool or a flood drain in pebbles, where there is no way it's all going to waste. The moment I start using soil or coco the plan changes though. It's the silt. The debris that will eventually block pipes and emitters. A filter good enough, is an unreasonable expectation. A service item constantly chipping away at delivery rates.

I guess a low pressure system with wide open pipes could be used on a smaller scale. I'm no stranger to such systems. I like a clean tank though. Any crud and your pump bearings are wearing. I just don't like sacrificial compromises

I managed to filter the runoff enaugh to be happy about making a recirculating system, but I feel.the water saving are not good enaugh to justify the bother of reusing the runoff for small indoors..

That's a good effort. I used to catch plenty in the return when it was just 3" block in gutters.

I can't imagine using domestic guttering now. Everyone was doing it though, as a cheap nft. The roots would be bulging out, and water backing up to the inlet pipes. Our little twist on it was the central heating pump. Made with quiet in mind, they had 3 power settings and some taps. A bleed screw with handy screwdriver slot to free up the shaft after you ran it dry. A nice big impeller that could probably sharpen a pencil. We never killed one. The things can pump sludge.

Oh, for sure, for larger systems a wastewater pump that has a grinder attached would do wonders. That would be used before extensive filtering. I am having really big problems finding parts to test stuff in small scale sometimes, even if I know how easy I would solve it in big scale..
