Is there a way to recover a hermie plant?

I have several awesome looking plants.
I put them into flower for a few days and both male and female characteristics showed up... mostly female.. but a few little balls here and there on the stalks...
Love to save these girls..
Any advice? I don't want my flower room to be infected with Male Pollen! But I hate to chop these plants!

take cuts and clone.. maybe you had some light leaks that caused the hermis. or let them grow out, seed what happens and how good the smoke is.

I would not bother with genetics that are prone to herm.. better start again and try to do it better.

if its all you have for smoke and its only a few male flowers and you really want el smoke,then just pull the balls off when you see em.plants that like to hermie are going to do it 3 to 5 weeks in and alot of times they stop after that.this is only if you have no bud and no other girls to flower if you pull the existing ones.

I think a lot of feminised plants seem to grow some balls at the start of flower but no more after that.
I don't think they are really hermies just intersex traits. (I think)

If they are really nice plants they might be worth keeping, it's up to you if it's worthwhile or not.

Well, they would be in with others.. but a guy gave me the seeds said they were ATF , Alaska Thunder F.
I do not know if they are, but if they are, hell, I hate to chop them...
The balls are sporadic, just one here and there, on the main stem.. very tiny... but the buds are coming on really good now, and the plants look awesome..
So, hell, I sure hate to chop them down.. haver been pulling the balls off. Each plant only has like 3 balls, 1 here and there.. very very tiny.. about the size of a tip on a ball point pen... and the flowers are looking awesome... really good. Shoot.., may just throw up a small room and flower them alone. Thanks for all the great insight...

Fuck them plants... u say u cant get anymore seeds.. if multiple hermies why in hell would ya want to... so what what u were told they were this or that in reality they are not any good sumthin id stay clear of them in the future.. ditch that crap hermi trash... regardless of genetics they are not keepers...

depends on how bad they are. you're gonna most likely end up with seeds regardless and if this is all you got, might as well finish running em. or at least the ones with the fewest balls.

my own personal experience i would just watch em if they just started. i pluck off all the male parts if it's only like one or 2 each node. if it's mostly balls then it's most likely a mostly male that started off expressing female side. pluck off all the ablls/male flowers you find and keep watching. if they keep looking like girls then you most likely won't see any more throughout the grow and you'll end up with banana's popping up in late flower. that's unavoidable if yo know they're prone to herm. since you said this was an extinct strain i would be happy with whatever i get myself. collect the seeds and select away from the hermies.

anyway that's what i would do, and like i said personal experience. all the seeds i found on the outside buds of my herming final atlantic diesel all came up girls or males that show female tendencies. i collected the pollen from the psuedo males and killed em off. the females i kept all 3 are identical to the mom and so far no herm tendencies @50 days. mom showed balls during first 2 weeks on a couple nodes. pluck em off that was that. at the end of flower it went long and i found all the "magic seeds" sprouting from the tips of the outermost buds .

your call on what you wanna do. but if these are your only plants you have to flower and you put in all the work, you might as well finish em out while you veg replacements. no point in wasting all that time and energy and electricity.

I am thinking maybe it is my fault they started putting off the male balls because in our home, we heat only with wood.. we have a wood stove and if we fail to keep it going, the house gets really cold.. I know the room went down to 53 degrees one morning.. so, maybe I caused the plants to do this... IF, IF, I say IF the plants are the ATF strain, and nobody has it, or nobody is saying so.. then these plants would be of a great, fantastic breed....If I can revive that strain.. that would be awesome so given all the above you might see why I am so reluctant to just chop them.. lol.
Also, I am not willing to screw up my flowering plants.. so, it is a situation.. to be sure...
I am going to keep them for now, and watch them many times each day to insure I remove any little single balls from the stalks... If they start putting out more balls, I will get rid of them...
Everyone is telling me good stuff.. loving the response.. thanks you all for helping on this one... great to hear from experienced growers...

if it shows balls it's because of genetics. stress just allows the hermie tendencies to express themselves.

start picking off balls... you will likely smoke a seeded crop most likely as you will miss some...... how many balls...?????? ...don't grow that strain again..depending on their amount of balls and your ability to remove them you could still have an ok harvest....sometime they don't put out pollen or stop producing more balls after initial bunch...been there done that ..its not always your fault as everyone especially breeders would like you to think..theres a lot of unstable genetics from even so called reputable breeders...I wont name any names...yeehaw....when picking off balls its best to turn off fans and mist plants with water..this will help stop pollen spread by accident..
