is there a difference between the 818, and the SFV?

hello all, long time lurker, nooby poster
A couple weeks ago i acquired a couple og cuttings.
A SFV, an 818, and the Ghost cut.
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what the difference between the 818 and the SFV is (if any difference, i was told they are the same by one guy)
from the leaf structure the 818 has a slightly more indica/fatter characteristic, they do look quite similar tho.
So yea i was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the 818?

i found it quite confusin considering 818 is the area code for th sfv

Any info on the ghost cut would be cool to... All i know is that it comes from the person that went by ghost on overgrow?
The ghost cut has the sharpest knifelike leaves of the three, but it is no mistaken its an og, with that killer 3 leaf look on some of em :woohoo:

thanks for the help... But the search function isnt the best... If i tried searching for OG KUSH, id get hundreds and hundreds of threads... Most of which i have already read... I know a fair bit about the folklore/myths around the heritage to all the different og phenotypes...

You mostly see talk about the abusive, or the SFV... So i was wondering if someone might no anything about the 818, cause when i tries searching for info, the majority of it is about the SFV, and i see almost nothing about 818

But the search function isnt the best..

I agree, it's a shot in the dark. I have ahard time too. People come on and tell you to use it, but offer no help. With that energy used, they could just answer your question...

I believe SFV and 818 are similar if not the same. Nowadays there are many many OG crosses, and it's hard to tell which is which sometimes.

The bowl test is always the deciding factor, sounds like you got 3 keepres there. Any pics? Why not do a side by side? I have a mystery OG kush flowering right now that I have no idea what it is..

yea guess ill just have to wait until i flower some out to see the difference.
There is definately a difference in leaf structure between the 2.
Ill post some pics, but i wanna veg em a little bigger first.
The ghost cut looks the most different of the three, but no denying its an OG.

the 818 and sfv do have a similar look, but its quite easy to notice a difference.

Thanks for responding guys!

ill take some pics here soon enough :joint:

the SAN FERNANDO VALLEY's area code is 818

when people refer to OG as Valley Kush, 818 Kush, Sfv kush , and any other name you can add on to "OG" they most likely mean, its the real deal OG.

Sorry jeff, I misunderstood your question. As far as I know the 818 and SFV cuts are the same (818 is just the SFV's area code) but by now there could be yet another OG cuts around :biglaugh: that goes by the name 818 kush Its getting pretty rediculous. I just read somewhere that there are two completely different SFV cut lol, doesnt that kinda defeat the purpose?

If its dank and you dont know its name, just call it OG kush ;) At last I think thats how its done
