Is THC only fat-soluble??

So I've been pondering if THC was only fat-soluble?
Since some methods call for cooking the cannabis on the stove top, I feel like the steam gets me lifted a bit..
I'm sure other have experience this?
I'm assuming the best way I can extract the THC with water if I take Half an ounce and a few cups of water, add both to the vitamix, mix for a bit til it heats up a lil, strain and drink? like a THC juice? lol :canabis:

Cannabis has many terpenes that will evaporate at lower temperatures than thc.
I would guess that is what you are feeling.

2mg/L is considered low solubility.

The amount of water you would have to drink to get a buzz is measured in swimming pools.
 
THC solubility in water goes up as temperature goes up.

It is possible to make tea out of weed. Usually a tiny bit of milk or oil is added to increase solubility though.

Ever heard of Bhang?

  • 1 part in 1 part of alcohol; 1 part in 1 part of acetone; 1 part in 3 parts of glycerol. In 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.77 mg/L at 23 deg C. Soluble in fixed oils.
  • In water, 2.8 mg/L at 23 deg C

I love making weed tea. I always use a little whole milk or half and half to help extract the good stuff.

I've read from people online who say they've gotten high with tea made from just bud and hot water. I guess it's possible if you have a low tolerance.
 
I've made tea from just water and Mexican import Mid-grade that worked well.

It's possible that the weed was mostly decarboxilated though. And we did multiple extractions on the same weed and reduced it until almost no water was left most likely decarboxilating it further.
