Is panda film much more reflective than a painted white wall?

Thread title pretty much says it all..... I have a finished room that I am flowering in, and wanted to know if it was worth handing panda film over the white paint. Paint seems like your standard cheap non glossy white paint.

Also, do any of you line your floor with panda film, white side up? I feel like I've heard mixed things about the underneath of the leaves getting light?

I doubt very much that panda is much more reflective than white paint. In fact if I had to guess I'd go with the paint over the panda.

Flat white paint is more reflective than glossy paint BTW.

Panda paper holds more mold and dirt. Mold resistant paint is my preference.

I panda the floor except when it's concrete, but more for moisture control than reflecting light. Yes the undersides are green, means they have chlorophyll, means they use light.

normally I use flat white paint for things like walls and such, but panda is usefull if you can't paint overthings, need to cover over stuff or box off a section.my currant grow is in a room which is under a house.I am going to panda the floor(brown lino)the walls(brick, framing and some shelving)and the roof. Its also reusable and easy to clean.:)

3 to 4% more reflective than flat white paint. Yes, it's better to use panda than paint. Whether it is more convenient is another question entirely.

And how about white tiles like the tiles you use to see in bathrooms ?
Would that be effective? At least it gives you an easy cleaning.

Mold resistant flat white is the best for diffusing light, the point of a white surface is to diffuse and not reflect.
Panda's real strength in tenting and making lightproof divisions within a room and ease of clean.
By the time a canopy fills in having reflective material on the floor is a waste of $ IMO.
I use contractor style clear plastic for weather proofing, comes in various thicknesses and in huge rolls for cheap.

Panda film is slightly more reflective, but if possible use Mylar around the areas where the most light can be reflected on the plants.

This might only be a strip around the main tops, reflecting better light on them, but it's worth a few $ more.

Light Proofing & Wood Protection/Water Shield is all I relay use it for. It will work just as well as paint.
