Is Ocho Rios a good spot?

Going to Jamaica in a couple of months and would like to know/share of your experiences in or around Ocho Rios. Is this a good spot for herb enthusiasts?

Yea Ocho Rios is nice.I am more familiar with the negril and montego bay areas but I think I was in Ocho rios too but i was really high.You will find herb everywhere in jamaica.Here are some pics from my trip 2 years ago.I also got hash,weed cake,and was offered shrooms because their legal in jamaica but declined.Have fun and get high and enjoy the beach and ocean and go snorkeling if you have time,peace.

You'll find the dank in Ocho Rios, I turned it down about 4 times (wrong people around me) then scored from a guy about my age... 10 bucks for an 1/8ish sized bag, found two immature seeds. Wish they'd been mature so I could've brought 'em home and grown them out, oh well. Remember to bargain too, the kid wanted 20 initially, just told him another guy offered me more for less and he came right on down. Have fun

is it straight smoking in the hotels that are more touristy?

I smoked with no problem in my touristy hotel,and my room was pretty close to the front office.I also smoked with one of the guys who helps with your bags at the hotel..very cool people down there.
