Is my mix missing anything?

Well the Ol bottles are annoying and pricey. The big ol powder bags wont come for a while. So in the mean time I'm switching over to living soil, super soil or what er its marketed as now a days EH! I'm getting lazy in my young age ;p ripe O'L 29 gotta slow down ya know, LMFAO! Anyways jokes aside, Here is what I purchased for my medium mix.

Medium:

- HP + mycoz
- perlite
- pumice
- coco coir

Amendments:

-Gaia Green 4-4-4/2-8-4
- Diatamaceous earth
- Yucca powder
- Worm shieet(Gro4 brand) Can get a hold of the unco brand as well
- alfalfa meal
- kelp meal
- Sheep shieet(welllll aged)
- Chicken shieet(wellll aged)
- Epsom salt
- Chelated Micros
- Bio char
- Fulvic + Amino acid
- Dolomite lime
- Yo momma
- 2 row barley flower

Anything you organiheads can think of, please chime in! This will be my first go at the *just add water approach* Well so to say that is. wont be running tea's or anything. After some research I think teas are to volatile. Not controllable enough. I'll be getting a 10-12ton press and modifying a rosin pre-press to make a juicing/extracting unit for the kelp/alf/barley flour. That way I can control my own extractions. But that will come much later. might be missing something to boost the P/K for the mid stage of flower. Any suggestions? Going to be propagating mammoth P as well. Thanks Billfarthing! check out his open salts wiki in his sig, that link will save ur ass that's for sure.

Thanks folks!

Wow, couldn't you just get peat moss and add a bit of lime? Not knocking you, my hats off to everyone who goes to so much trouble, I just think its a lot of extra work for not much gain.

CannaRed

Cannabinerd
Chitin containing amendment like crab, lobster shrimp meals, or insect frasses.

Coot is always talking about Malted barley meal

Oh and yo momma is way too salty for an organic grow, she's more like one of those nasty cheap chemical snake oils dressed up in a expensive fancy bottle. Lol :tiphat:

Well tbh man I usually run hydro in a medium. and peat or coco is the base. so I get where you're coming from. But In the name of science, like to give the organics and living soils/super soil a try. See what it's all about.

Bonemeal is a cornerstone for me, but I'm not familiar with all those goodies so maybe you already have a phosphorous source?

Imho when it comes to living soil the more diversity the better as long as you are not overdoing one particular element and keeping everything in balance.

Might be overkill with manure.

We like alfalfa meal, EWC, Azomite in peated soil.

*just add water approach* The most important thing you can do with any organic mix is to only use pure water. Don't use anything that has touched the ground or any kind of plain tap water. Tap water most be ran through a RO filters or you will have problems. You can catch some rain in large plastic cans and only use that. I always prefer rain water over RO but I use both when I'm in drought. What makes any super soil mix a good mix is the water.
