is mob boss floppy at all?

T

TREE KING

im currently growing double strawberry diesel and chemdog double d and the strains are bomb but my plants are turning into a floppy mess. im sittin there attaching paper clips from one branch to another for support cause there not sturdy and im sick of it. mob boss is on my list of strains to get but i cant get it if the chem in it causes it to be floppy. i need strong thick stems to hold up these big buds. so how is mob boss is it floppy at all? i was gonna look for a chemdog pheno too which doesnt help, or at least a good mix

I caged my bigger ones, so it was no problem.. My shorter bushier ones hav not needed much support.. I can see what u are talkin about, but has yet to be an issue!!

o no sounds like this could be a problem lol. also keep in mine im doin no veg time so that makes it a little better. does it stick out as a strain thats more floppy than normal like chemdog or is the tang tang providing support to the strain in this department?

BigDawg the plants arent that big plus have skinny branches and its a one time thing. these strains i got are goin straight in the trash when im done with them lol. no more goin in my grow room and seeing plants fallin down everywhere, and this is with no veg time. my blubonics can hold up buds 3 time the size no problem

you would think they could breed for strong stems but it would be so far down the line of priorities, you mention blubonics though that is a relieve as I intend to get those~

yeah youl love the blubonic Nor'Easter trust me. sounds like you havent ran the mob boss huh?

no I want to run all the Grindhouse stuff and the SOL. but the budget won't allow. I am encouraged by what I hear about the blubonic though, I want to run that and the ultra sonja.

i would say that strong/sturdy stems aren't associatied as much with genetics, but proper air circulation thru all stages of growth. Sometimes its not a bad idea to shake plants around a bit, i notice the plants i handle more become sturdier.

THCphd420, trust me chemdog and dsd are known for being floppy. a friend of mine is breeding his chem with a male sour d to strengthen the stems on his chem cause its floppy. im growing these strains the exact same way and blubonic was no problem compared to my other strains. the buds on my dsd arent even that big. some of the branches have buds 3/4" and there still bending down to the ground. with some strains theres nothing you can do about it

No not a problem at all.. And yes the tangtang gives a real nice structure...Until I read your title I would not hav thought about it.. I hav seen the ChemD chem4 and some of the sours hav this trait... It's kinda like Lookin at someones kid and being able to see mom and dad.. IMHO we see a better product than the parents.. Mob Boss will always be Runnin here.. 1 pack gave me to many keepers.. Damn laws!!! Good luck Pal

thats good to know paladin. when i buy seeds of a strain i buy alot of them to make sure i get the best pheno and i plan to keep the strain for years so i dont wanna go through all that work and then find out i dont want the strain. from what your saying it looks like it would work for me or at least worth taking the time to grow out seeds to see. i appreciate the info thanks

that makes me feel alot better and i would definitely love to see some picks. im curious paladin how many seeds were grown out to get your mob boss pheno and what traits did you select for? i personally want the biggest yielding pheno that has a chem smell plus a huge main cola for sea of green
