Is it too late to start growing outdoors this year?

I am in southern California and am wondering if it is too late in the year to grow a few normal plants outdoors. otherwise i am just going to go with autoflowers.

You should be fine if you start now!

You'll be fine. In fact, some Indica, or Indica hybrids will try to go into flower if started too early. Plenty of time for them to get big before they start flowering
