Is it too late to plant from seed?

Yes.I'm way late.

Is it too late to start a plant or 2 outside?

I have a couple of 5gal buckets. Can I germ a couple of seeds indoors in paper towels and transplant to as soon as I see germination? These would be photo period, not autos.I wouldn't be expecting huge yields obviously, but maybe a couple ounces (strain dependent of course) by mid Oct?

I planted some seeds this morning. 2nd batch.

The only thing that will happen is the plants won't be as big that's all.

But it's better than no plants at all. So yeah, plant them out ASAP. :tiphat:

The germ dates for outdoor germ is mothers day to memorial day here (40 north). This year was a few days before mothers day. Every day late and every mistake costs weight.

You could get a smaller harvest or scrap the idea and plan for next year. Lot's to learn in a year. Lot's of people germ inside, veg awhile, then put outside after the frost date, to get huge plants. From seed to stash is all possible 100% outside.

it depends on where you live, at 42 degrees if you plant an outdoor seed on the first of June, in a 30 liter pot, in the autumn you could have a two-meter sativa!the longer you wait and the more the plants will remain low .....

If you can get a small plant out by july 1st you still can get some good yields.

ok, i want to see every od grow from you with seeds starting in december.

It's a way of talking, just a little common sense.
In this case it is not too late ...
I never said that it was possible to start seeds in December...

even here, haters lol

Also take into consideration how much light. If it's guerilla in a somewhat open wooded area, you may have needed that exrta time. Just can't do much in the open here. Hidden is mire secure than trying to go big. Prison time is worse than being at home with a lot less smoke.

Starting seeds now is fine. They won't grow into monsters but if you give them premium conditions, soil, water, sun, fertilizer you could have yourself a nice harvest. You can compensate for smaller plants by planting more seeds. The warm weather means good germination rates. Do it now though, don't wait another week!
Now is the time to put out clones. Put them out too early and they start to flower, then they have to reveg. Usually you don't want to put them out earlier then the middle of May.
If you put them out now they'll be in sync with the season. Going from veg indoors to the long days of June will keep them vegging until the end of July so they are ready to flower straight through August. Of course I'm talking about rooted vigorous cuttings already in grow medium. If you have to snip and root it's a bit late.

I would buy few clones. It will put u 1 month ahead of seeds.maybe some teens even .wrll worth the money

Thanks so much for all the help guys.I am in a legal state, although I will be over on my count.Planting from seed also carries the risk of getting males,so I did plant 2 of each in hopes that I will get a female of each strain.Undecided if I will cull any females.

I also get pretty good sun exposure for the better part of the day,so I should be ok in that regard.

Thanks again for the help.I do appreciate it.
