is it legal to grow in holland?

hey this has been bugging me, cant find any info online. are u allowed to grow legally a small number of plants (i heard 6) in holland?

well aka the netherlands sorry dumb north american here

ok i found it turns out u can w/o penalties but police still take em if found

Yeah.....if my memory serves me right you can grow only 5 plants, but not inside under lights...

Of course I used to do far more than that in Holland at one time and this drew the attention of the local constabulary (for whatever reasons) who busted the grow, took mostly everything away......except for one bud and a few seeds left on the floor where the plants used to be......yes....they threw all the plants, lights and ferts etc into a huge dumpster then drove off...

No one connected with the grow was actually penalized (other than the loss of the grow and the house (went back to the landlord).......There was an 'interview' for one of us at the cop-shop but only lasted a couple of hours then that person was free'd......

So thats what will probably happen, they will just tear down and take away anything more than what is allowed if they find out about it.....

but if your presant when they arrive the will give you a nasty fine but in there defence there very very polite as they smash your shit distroy your work and charge you for the plesure.well on a serious note its still a lot better than most countrys NO HANDCUFFS so for this i firmly thank the dutch lettin me keep my dignity in front of my neighbours

The plant limit in the Netherlands is x4 plants...

like Gypsy says the use of lights and hydroponic equipment is prohibited.

Cannabis cultivation is NOT legal or even decriminalised in the Netherlands,, it's "tolerated".

In many respects,, Dutch law is backward on growers,,, yet quite civilised on smokers

It is tolerated to grow 5 plants outside, although some grow more.
As long you keep to the single convention of 1961, you can grow more than 5.Seed grow outside is allowed with more than 5 plants.
