Is it heat stress????

came back from the weekend and found that my plant had grown but that two of the leaves are yellowy/brown.Just at the tips, one of the leaves is more so then the other.

My plant is only two weeks old and i've used no ferts yet.I'm growing in All-Mix soil.I'm using one 200w envirolite and i keep it at least an inch above the plant and it doesn't seem to be too hot(i've done the hand test) The perlite on the top of my soil has gone yellow also.Could it be something to do with my water?

Is this heat burns from the light or could it be something else.I tried taking pics but my heap of shit camera only takes blurry pics of them.Does anyone have any ideas what this could be.

Anyone who could help, pleeeeaassse

I am wondering if you arent watering to often. The yellow perlite is probably mold or midew....

Its only the tops of the perlite, the part facing the light. When you pick up a little lump of it you see that the part unexposed to the light is still white.
I'm really worried about this cos one of my other plant died last week and this is my only one left.
Should i start using ferts in case its a pottasium deficiency?
The tenp in my grow room is only around 20 degrees an around 45 humidity!

Sounds like a nutrient deficiency to me. Heat stress usually causes the leaves to curl upwards so I doubt its that. Your temps also sound like theyre in range so that shouldnt be the problem. Have you checked the ph?
The yellowing perlite is not a problem. I have seen this many times with no ill effects.

Check out this link and maybe itll be a little clearer....

Too cold. You will see deficiencies because of this.

Your first feed might be 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) potassium nitrate per gallon (3.8L) of water. This is only 50 ppm nitrogen. Real low dose. Very safe and gentle on seedlings. Potassium nitrate is the ingredient in some stump removers at hardware stores. Dexol and greenlight are two brands but there are others. Just check the label.

After this first feed, use n p k + micros fert. Add 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) epsom salt and powdered gypsum per gallon (3.8L) of water along with your regular ferts if there is no calcium and magnesium in the regular fert or no dolomite lime in the soil. Add this every third fert even with dolomite lime in the soil and your regular fert does not contain calcium and magnesium.

Adjust fert water ph to about 6 after mixing for best results.

Thanks for your advice!

Its 20 degrees celcius. I'm not sure is it over watering but i'm using a self watering pot so any excess water should flow into the reservoir.

I have Bio Bizz root stimulator and Boi-Grow. Should i use both of these or just one? It looks like it could be a deficiencey of some sort as it is starting at the bottom leaves and isn't affecting any other leaves!
Should i feed straight away even though they don't need a watering so as this problem doesn't worsen or should i just wait a day or two till the soil dries some more?

I live in Ireland so i'm not sure would they have that type here. Will any type do?
Are my other ferts too strong too use at this stage? What if i used a real low dose?Would there be a risk of over ferting and death?

Okay i finally got pics of my plant. For some reason i don't think its light burn and more as the plant is a good bit away from the light and still seems to be getting worse. The new lieaves growing are also turning yellow at the tips now.

Please, please, please help me cos i don't want a second plant to die on me.

Could that cause the yellowing of he leaves?
My problem in the overwatering depatment is that i'm using self watering pots so they shouldn't be overwatered but maybe they are too wet constantly and don't get a dry period.Would that cause such yellowing?
And if so what should i do? Should i make a hole into the reservoir and let the water drain out and let dry for a few days.

Okay thanks, i'm gonna drain my reservoir somehow tonight, probably have to break a hole in the pot.
What are the chance my plant wil die before it dries out or is it impossible to tell? If the rest of those two leaves go yellow will the plant die?
I have the plant in a Peat Pot in side a bigger pot,its only been in ther about 4 days would i be better pulling it out of that pot carefully and getting new soil to minimise the time it is in such wet soil or could it do more dammage then good?
