Is it bad to top 3 days into flower?

My plants are over growing my cab and I need to top them. I can't reall tie them down because I have no room. I'm doing a scrog

last chance to top is 1 week into flower any later and most plants don't respond well. and use a sterile blade.

You can top anytime you want, but remember that the plant will stop growing to heal itself, and you are risking stressing the plant, which will bring terrifying results

So the first week or two you are ok, but you are stealing valuable bud growing time

You should top then wait 1 week then flower. Let's the hormones settle back to normal.

You're doing a SCROG with no room to tie things down? I thought the whole point of a SCROG was to spread the plant(s) out by tying it/them down to a screen? You know ... that whole spread the energy thing and keeping an Even Canopy. Just what kind of a SCROG do you have going on there? Maybe you decided to try a SCROG after your garden was already getting out of control?

I topped 5 days into flower and although it may have slowed down bud production but they flowered well


Now its cropped and ready to cure.

if you have room to scrog you have room to LST, tie the plant down to the side of the pots, if your plant is in a pot you have room to LST.
