Is anyone using digital/electronic ballast?

Hey everyone. I'm thinking about possibly getting a couple 600 digital ballast and i was wondering if anyone is using them. They sound to good to be true. I've heard reports of them being unreliable in the past and i was wondering if that has changed at all. Check out this site where i am considering purchasing them. They have alot of pretty good information. They come with a 5 year warranty which is nice..... any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Later

they are improving but untill one of the big hydro stores gives it a thumbs up i'd stick with analogue ,,, www.growell.co.uk(biggest and best in uk) had a batch and nearly all were returned and these had mercedes components in them ,,,,
when nthey do get em right they will definately be worth the extra ,

but like 00420 says if it has a 5 year warranty then u cant really go wrong ,most analogues only carry 2-3 years ,
i'd have a spare just in case

IF you could get the ballast replaced, same day that your ballast went out.without having to have it back-ordered,and reshipped from the manufacturer,it would be a great thing.the energy saved could be used to expand an existing system.
But for now it looks like for the most part and for the most people, analogue are the way to assure a successful finish to a grow.

But when they're tested true I'm getting mine :2cents:

Hello
I have been ising them for approximately 1 yr, only problem was w/ premature fan failure, otherwise they're great, quiet, cool, & light wieght easy to mount any where
,. obviously more expensive to buy, a little cheaper to run hope this helps
