Is 56 days too short?

For certain reasons beyond my control, my girls need to come down this Friday which is day 56. I started flushing on Sunday so they don't even get a full week of flush...

Will the early cut or lack of flush severely hamper the final product? To what extent? Should I be worried about crappy product?

Here are some crappy pics:

pictures arent showing up but its all dependant on strain, i mean if they HAVE to come down then of course you are looking at a less quality and quantity. you still may get high but at this stage in the life of the plant everyday matters. Sorry I couldnt help more but if you harvest early the the finish product will be less than ideal and that sucks!

They will burn like shit and not stay lit. flush as long as you can.

your probably fine dude.
i find that early cut stuff is usually pretty racy and gets my heart going.

With a short flush, there is a good chance it will taste really harsh. Flushing properly is very key to having a great tasting the final product. Good luck.

give it a slow dry/cure

You will end up with loose bud if they were not allowed to SWELL UP yet but you can get more UP UP meds cutting early so it has its benefits.

Many strains however pack on their weight at the end versus beginning and many growers tend to stop their WEIGHT right when it needs it most.

If you had to rush cut then I assume you must rush trim/jar as well? If not then what I would have did was to simply put them in the dark and just shut off the light IF the light was your issue. This would let them dry up on their own PLUS the added benefit of the dark cycle at the end then when you got back you could cut/hang and it could work wonders.

Either way though, you said you chopped so there it is..

I agree you need at min a week of plain water before you harvest. I do more then that 2 or more weeks to get the plant to start eating itself. I see you dont have a choice so water with good run off...

Your biggest concern will be premature harvest not 1 week of flushing IMO.

lol this guys got it...depending on what strain premature buds are much more of a concern than one week flush...of course neither can be helped at this point.

The quality of premature buds really depend on the strain, and even then on specific individuals. Some plants produce a lot of terpenes throughout flower whereas some only seem to do it in a short time frame around harvest. If you harvest outside that timeframe you'll get pretty weak weed.
If you overfed it its definitely going to affect taste a lot but if it's simply still green a good slow dry/cure will remove some of its chlorophyll and improve taste. Hang the whole plants upside down without removing any of the leaves yet, they'll dry slower that way and the plant is tricked into believing its still alive, being forced to consume the energy it has left in the chlorophyll cells.

No yellow leaves and burnt leaf tips. My guess would be bad burn and taste runs out quickly. Good luck. Peace GS

That plant is in the window of ripeness, you're good to go on chopping it. It might start out a little racy but as it dries and especially cures over a period of time the high will get much better. I would not worry about it

i find it weird how some people here advocate NO FLUSH...and others claim it makes the bud burn harsh..

i have noticed from personal experiance, that nugget that isnt flushed does taste "hot"..

Yep,
Flushing is a must.
I am trying a little molassess on the tail end of my flush to sweeten up my Grape Krush even more...
You might have tryed that. If she is a fresh cut with no flush then you could soak the end of stems in molassess and water for a day.
(just a thought,never tryed)
That and maybe leave her in the dark with good air flow for a week before final trim dry.
Yep, thats all I have to say about that...
Yep- puff,puffpass...
