Irrigation troubles please help

So I just set up my autofeed system with a 1100gph pump, 1/2" PVC manifold, with 1/4" barbs threaded in to push tubing onto to run to the dripstakes, the tubing keeps popping off the barbs, it's a big mess. How can I secure the drip lines to the manifold?

duct tape and/or zipties

lol I kid

I just set my irrigation up as well, first time and it's working flawlessly.

I think mine was easier because I used the 1/2" flexible tubing instead of 1/2" PVC, and I punched tiny holes (kinda like pilot-holes, if you will ) with a special hole punch (cheap at home depot). After punching the hole, the 1/4" coupler slid right into the half inch tubing and it maintains a seal and has a barb for your 1/4" tubing.

Something to note, is, if you're not using pressure compensating drip stakes, all your 1/4" tubing lengths must be the same! I ran 50+ 18" long exactly, and put a 1/4" tee at the end, so I had 2 1/4" outlets per spaghetti tube

Idk if this is helping you at all. Sounds like you drilled holes into the pvc and tried to put the 1/4" plastic coupler in said drilled hole?

The clamps are what I ended up deciding on last night, I'll also have to go back and make all the tubing the same length to the stakes to even things out. Thank you everyone for the input, it's much appreciated

The clamps aren't quite small enough to grip the drip line. I'm gonna try mini zip ties, hopefully I can get em tight enough to hang on there. I did drill and thread the holes for the barbs to thread into, the holes seem tight it's the damn hose popping off

That's pretty clever, this is why I've been intimidated by the mechanics of a hydroponics system, all the fittings and the logistics of evenly distributing everything, I wish soil could be as fast as coco so I could just handwater

As above Duct tape and Zip Ties will hold for now, this is when you get in that 3d printer and make a device ....and a fortune ...lol

A 3d printed manifold system! I wish man, I'm about as far from a handy man as they come, so trying to set this up to not siphon and not leak has been a pain, I don't know anyone in my area using a drain to waste system that could even give advice

If the clamps don't fit on the hose you could try getting a stiff piece of pipe to go around the hose and use it as a spacer around the hose, it just needs to go all the way around then use the clamp over top the spacer and hose, not sure if it will hold your pressure, a good thick rubber hose as the spacer might work better as it can push more pressure down and contract with the hose and clamp.

I'm gonna try mini zip ties first because 200 were eight bucks, my pit bull broke his cage and zip ties got tight enough around that, and the wire the cage is made of is probably no wider than 1/8in. If that doesn't work I'm gonna try the grommets and clamps, seems close to what your saying and it definitely seems like it would work. Fingers crossed on the zip ties though, I'm a cheap shit and the amount of clams I need will cost a hundred bucks before grommets.

no sorry I don't .but they are a common item at irrigation places or they were back a few years..like I said they look like a handcuff and you squeeze em shut...yeehaw..I think even home depot had em in their stores in their drip irrigation area where I spent a lot of time once..might of been Walmart...well several places had em....pretty sure it was homedepot that also had em..I liked em cause they are reusable you just wiggle the parts opposite directions it slides off teeth and the cuff unlocks..mine were black
